Lovely location with about a 15-20 minutes walk to the centre of Grasmere. The room was cosy and the perfect size for my partner and myself. Really friendly staff, and very relaxed atmosphere. Added the breakfast option after we got there and so glad we did, if you have a sweet tooth try the pancakes! We also ate in the restaurant for dinner on the first night and the food was delicious. Thank you for a great stay! ❤️

The Swan at Grasmere- The Inn Collection Group, hotel in Patterdale

The Swan at Grasmere- The Inn Collection Group has recently been refurbished and features en-suite rooms, 2 bars and a beer garden overlooking the fells.

Just amazing from check in to check out everything ran smoothly. The hotel is fabulous, lovely rooms , cosy bar and dining room, with open fires. The food was absolutely delicious, breakfast too. Most importantly was the staff and superb customer service, they made our stay even better. The Inn is set in an idyllic setting, where the stars shine brightly in dark skies, walkable to Grasmere or just a short drive away, fab walks on the doorstep. Thank you once again to the wonderful staff for making our stay perfect, and for helping my brother who had a small accident , you were amazing. We will be back soon ... 😘🫶

Location was just fantastic! We went to do the Helvellyn and it’s only 7min drive. The place it self got nice lake and the surrounding area was very lovely with mountains on each side. The lady that meet us in the shop was just so lovely. She was super friendly and helpful. Wow! I wish there was more of her. The staff at the In was also welcoming and attentive. Thank you guys! If we ever coming back this so where we would stay.

Breakfast and Dinner were very good each day. The location is very good, mountain views nice and convenient for tours and walking. The staff were polite and attentive. Our best like is that for once this is a no dog hotel including the bar and restaurant and some customers should book because of this.

Location was perfect. I was competing in the Helvellyn triathlon, just down the road, so this was a great spot to stay. They offered a secure location to store my bike overnight, and even packaged me up a 'to go' breakfast, as I would have already left before they started their usual breakfast.

Room was pretty basic but comfortable. Location was beautiful. Breakfast was one of the best we have had. Felt a little overpriced for a bed and breakfast compared to competitors . A price nearer £85 would seem more reasonable given the room standard.
