All very reasonably priced as well. Real ale behind the bar and an open log fire. Large selection of drinks and food all day and the breakfast was spot on. Whether you are looking for a place to stay or after a meal with a proper local feel then you won't be let down if you give the Manor House a try. Well worth a visit.

I loved the style of the decorations. Even though I only stayed for 2 nights I enjoyed my stay at Homelands. Because my flight got delayed, I couldn't arrive at the check-in hour. The owners were so kind and gave me and upgrade for a room I could easily acces when coming late. Also the food at breakfast was delicious and you could order in advance what you want so you wouldn't have to wait for it in the morning.

Across road is the bus stop to get into Durham which is literally minutes away. Would love to go back & no hesitation on recommending this place at all.

The restaurant at the hotel was very good, and the breakfast included with the room was very good. I'd stay here again if I were in the area.
