Overall I had an excellent stay at this hotel. I was there for seven nights and it was so good that I didn't actually leave the hotel once, other than on a dive boat! It is a real pleasure to stay there and the atmosphere is very much one of luxury, relaxation and comfort, thanks to the hotel's facilities, staff and location.
The rooms are large, clean and well appointed, with very comfortable beds and good views.
The location is excellent, far enough from the town and the main road for it to be very quiet, and obviously right on the ocean, but also close enough to town that you can go in if you want to.
The four restaurants were all excellent and almost everything I ate was very good. The prices are very high by Mexican standards but about the same as I'd expect to pay for a decent quality meal in the UK.
The staff and service were excellent throughout.
The on-site scuba diving shop provides access to some very good dive sites.
The whole hotel and especially the restaurants were very quiet in early September, which I gather is low-season. For me, this was mostly a positive thing.

Set in a non commercial area with 'Rustic charm' do not fear the apartments are lovely, secure and homely. We booked whilst at a bar in town and then walked there in 15 mins after finishing our drinks. All the information was sent in email and a little later in messages. All that we needed to gain entrance and sort WiFi and door codes etc.
Instructions on how best to use the hot water supply. This was not even an issue but great attention to detail. Lovely courtyard/Garden area.
Our only regret is that we didn't stay longer. However we had nothing to fear, another apartment was available at short notice as this was a spontaneous decision to stay over another night again. Absolutely outstanding in all regards.

The pool needs to be mentioned first, it is incredible and super well kept, the true differentiating point of the hotel! It overlooks the sea and there is the possibility to sip a drink while there.
The structure in general is very nice and for a couple without kids the fact that the hotel is adults only is a plus.
Breakfast was simple but very good in our opinion.
Staff incredibly welcoming and helpful, always super kind to us.
The view of our room was amazing, the room itself very nice and cozy while not necessarily being at the level of the common areas.
It’s a bit distant from the city centre, but we managed to go there on foot (around 20min) one night, otherwise taxis are quite cheap or we advise renting a scooter to go around.

Great Value for a very clean comfortable place - nice garden out front for working and relaxing . Close enough to the water to walk but I had a scooter . Pet friendly so that was a bonus

The location, although a bit on the edge of town (but near the sea) was perfect... Quiet and great places to eat in the evenings nearby. Actually greater than all the tourist places in the centre...
The room was big and great facilities... Really great to have a big water bottle in the room.

Super little hotel, and Teresa a perfect host (she even lent me her “rustic” bike (which was perfectly fine for the island which is mostly flat).
I had a lovely room upstairs at the rear of the property, and one for an extra night nearer the front - both were quiet given the proximity to the town.
There is also a great little micro-brewery, a good bar, and a super bake house within around 50yards! Super location, and also near ferry terminal.
Finally, Booking the dog is very friendly (especially if he has a little treat:)
Location perfect just a short stroll for all the action and ferry port. Bed huge and comfy, shower hot and reasonable pressure for the island. Coffee, fruit,pastries out every morning. Had fridge which was great and a safe. Cleaning staff leave sweets and towel art with rose petals. Pool area peaceful and plenty of comfy beds/ cabanas. I would highly recommend this place.
We really enjoyed our stay!! The bed was really comfortable. The breakfast was also really good and everyday slightly different when you ordered the same what was nice. In case of any inconvenience they are ready help immediately. And they are really pet-friendly. Coffie (our dog) enjoyed his stay there too!! Thank you Villas Segovia
