It is a beautiful place with incredible facilities for being in such a small community seemingly far from any busy town. The staff was very kind and friendly and it was beautifully decorated for Christmas. The breakfast was absolutely wonderful and served by fun guys and gals. A lovely comfortable cottage in excellent condition. It was well equipped and there was plenty of space for the four of us during our long weekend visit. A great location in an attractive Dales village. Lovely views over the river to the hills beyond from the dining room with a front garden to sit in if the weather is good. The Red Lion is just a few steps away and the popular tea room is close at hand too. There was plenty of space for clothes in the bedrooms which were refreshingly free of IKEA furniture. The beds were comfy too. Well placed for walks along the river Wharfe to Grassington, Hebden and Appletreewick. In the latter you must not miss the wonderful Craven Arms. All in all a great place to stay.
