This establish was family run for many years but is now part of a chain. The high standards appear to have been maintained. Many of the original staff remain including the chef of over twenty years so the quality of dinner and breakfast was excellent. The location, next to the river Wharfe is superb.

The pub itself was lovely, however the cottage we stayed in was dated and needed some TLC. The breakfast was really good and we really enjoyed it each day, the staff were lovely and were so great with our kids. Overall we had a lovely time.
