Lived up to its name and had everything we needed in a small cosy package. Clean, modern and tidy with added extras like bread, milk, biscuits and eggs to make it more welcoming whatever time we arrived. Instructions were clear and helpful with communication delivered in a timely manner.
Instructions also identified some immediate dog walks nearby which were helpful on arrival to enable us all to stretch our legs after the car journey.

Got the code for the keys straight after booking the accommodation. Easy peasy.
The hot tub was on and ready when we got there so no messing around and was straight in.
We used the cooking facilities and enjoyed Netflix on the TV the first night. The little snacks and treats the host left for us made the weekend that much better.
The entire place is very modern and the bathroom is very slick.

The cottage was immaculate but also styled to a very high spec - my family were super impressed. The code access was easier than trying to find and remember keys all the time, beds were super comfy and everything you needed was available. When i stupidly left a much treasured watch behind, the cleaner handed it in immediately and Hannah posted it straight back to me. My husband and I will definitely return to Carpenter’s cottage and use it as our base in the lakes- could not recommend this cottage more highly.

One of the biggest headaches when driving to your hotel is finding a convenient place to park, so these properties are on hand to take the pressure off. Options range from secure underground car parking, to safe spots within easy reach of the hotel itself.
Beautifully clean, aesthetically pleasing and well-equipped. The location is ideal for touring with a parking spot, and easy access to public transport. The property manager was quick to respond when I contacted him.
Cozy and comfortable, very well equipped kitchen and clear instructions for heating. Parking permit was very handy, covered all of zone A making it a little easier when trying to find a space.
