What didn't we like?? Amazing venue. Great owners, absolutely beautiful. What a way to finish of our lovely weekend up scafell pike. 10/10 A bottle of prosecco on arrival. Bread butter eggs milk, everything. Amazing.

The house was perfect for a couples getaway and in a great location, very close to the town. Very cosy in the house too. Watching tv in front of the fire with the reclining sofas was very nice. It was spotless when we arrived and it is well equipped, and there are little helpful notes around the house. We couldn’t have asked for a better house to stay in Kendal, especially for the price we paid. For food out I would recommend Ye Olde Fleece Inn, it’s gorgeous and the food is wonderful.

Big and spacious (deceptive from the front of the property), parking was really easy next to the green, and there’s a bus stop right outside which was very helpful. Great facilities, and a stylish finish, it had everything we needed!
