Got the code for the keys straight after booking the accommodation. Easy peasy.
The hot tub was on and ready when we got there so no messing around and was straight in.
We used the cooking facilities and enjoyed Netflix on the TV the first night. The little snacks and treats the host left for us made the weekend that much better.
The entire place is very modern and the bathroom is very slick.

A cosy country house that was beautifully appointed to fit in with the era when Beatrix Potter lived there! The meals were exquisite. Richard, owner and chef, produced wonderful meals! Thoroughly recommend both the hotel and food! Bedroom was lovely and bed comfortable. The hotel was warm and staff very friendly and helpful.

Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
Loved how cosy and clean the place is. Me and my partner loved this place so much. Would definitely come back here. Eggs, bread, and milk were perfect for our stay. It was such a nice gesture.
Great location and such a cosy little property. Handy fifteen minute walk into town yet very quiet area especially at night. Nice touches such as hosts leaving cookies, bread and milk in kitchen. Very happy with stay.
The property was so lovely and cosy and felt very homely. It was in a perfect location for walks with the dog. We will definitely be coming back for longer next time :) Thankyou :)
The house was perfect for a couples getaway and in a great location, very close to the town. Very cosy in the house too. Watching tv in front of the fire with the reclining sofas was very nice. It was spotless when we arrived and it is well equipped, and there are little helpful notes around the house. We couldn’t have asked for a better house to stay in Kendal, especially for the price we paid. For food out I would recommend Ye Olde Fleece Inn, it’s gorgeous and the food is wonderful.
Cozy and comfortable, very well equipped kitchen and clear instructions for heating. Parking permit was very handy, covered all of zone A making it a little easier when trying to find a space.
Cosy cottage right in the heart of Kendal. It was a great size for what we needed. The complimentary tea coffee and biscuits was a nice touch too. The yard was also much bigger than we'd been expecting. It's still only a yard rather than a big garden but there was plenty of room to sit outside and let the dogs wander a bit. It's also ideal how the cottage is set back a little from the road.
