Ideal for nature-lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and self-catered. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than holiday homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.
Convenient location, complete facilities, clean environment, and friendly and responsive host made our stay very comfortable and satisfied. Recommend to anyone who comes to Madrid and wants to have a comfort and safe lodging.
The lodgings are located close to the centre of the city. The gentleman who checked me in was efficient and friendly. Despite a considerable amount of noise in the street, once all windows and shutters were closed, it didn't really prove a problem. Both shared bathrooms were available whenever I needed to use them. The room, on a fourth floor with a lift/elevator, offered a nice view from the balcony. The free wifi met my needs.
Lodging.
The room is not so spacious but it is not uncomfortable, the bed is very comfortable and pleasant. I have no complaints, everything was great. I stayed 2 nights.
Location.
It is quite far from the center of Madrid, but nearby is the bus station that takes you to the metro. Therefore it is easy to get to the center.
Meal.
There are restaurants nearby. But at the hotel they offer a buffet at a cost of €7.5. They serve cereals, bread, ham, cheese, coffee, chocolate, oranges, fruits.
You can’t find a better location in Madrid! My stay was made exceptional because of Pablo’s warm welcome at check in and his detailed list of recommendations. We crossed many things off the list, making our short visit to Madrid jam packed and so much fun! The double room was very comfortable and nicely arranged. Based on my research of other lodging options in Madrid, this double room is one of the largest available in this price range.
Spotless clean unlike other Travelodge .
Staff are very helpful, polite and respectful.
We appreciate their help in keeping our big luggages after check out in the morning and we could collect those in late afternoon before our train to Barcelona.
Really enjoyed staying at this Travelodge .
I have stayed in this hotel a few times. It's much nicer than the Travelodge hotels in the UK. Rooms are modern, new and clean. Beds very comfortable. 24 hour reception always very helpful and you can have late checkout for €10. An easy walk to the metro station. Great value hotel!
A lodging that's strategically located within walking distance of La Gran Vía, Parque del Retiro and many other attractions. Self check-in was increibly easy as was self check-out. They also provide a luggage storage option so you can hold your bags while you continue to sightsee after check out. The room itself was cozy and had everything you need for a short stay. Highly recommended for anyone travelling to Madrid for a couple of days!
The property was clean and the rooms were huge. Staff friendly and amenities excellent. Very quiet considering they are in central Madrid. Glass may be sound proof.
We were on holiday with two other couples and they were staying at hotels more central similarly priced. The feedback we got from them on their hotels was noisy and slightly run down ‘travel lodge’ like. We totally lucked out with this hotel one and it was as close to many of the restaurants as them anyway.
