Ideal for nature lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and have kitchen facilities. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than vacation homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.
I paid for hotel rm but met no one to attend u collect my money and u did not give me room .I spoke with ur staff he said is close .what I think of this hotel is fraud. Cos I have to go and lodge in another hotel when all door locked.no one to attend to me.any way u will hear frm my lawyer
This facility is NOT a hotel but lodging. Should be listed as such. Inga (?) was extremely helpful and pleasant but we did not expect to be accommodated in a lodging with communal cooking facilities etc. There was a thin duvet on the bed- we were cold. one tiny pillow each. The antique lift did not go down to the ground floor but stopped at 1st floor. Two octogenarians had to carry down five suitcases and backpacks.
The location is totally convenient to the main street and easy to walk many places or to uber places.
We love to support Gay owned and Gay operated hotels and lodgings.
Much more than just a hotel room, excellent for City Breaks, very spacious, fridge with selection of drinks at very reasonable prices, in the heart of the interesting part of Lisbon which was well serviced by bus and trams. Secure locked parking also available but limited spaces so book early. The staff always on hand with quick response time on Whatsup. We will be returning to Lisbon and hopefully back to Cais Urban Lodge
Cais Urban Lodge is situated perfectly to explore Lisbon. Room was spotless, communication with the staff was very quick and very polite (via WhatsApp, as no concierge desk located in the building itself.)
Despite being close to the bars on Pink Street, we found it to be mostly pretty quiet. Only issue was inconsiderate other guests, which I suppose you can get anywhere!
Rooms were clean and practical. Reminded us of Travelodge type style from the UK which suited us fine. Staff were helpful and the room was cleaned daily.
• Loved the little living room working space.
• Loved the shared kitchen and lovely breakfast.
• The staff were super laid back and friendly.
• The style and hotel design is simple and beautiful, its beauty is lodged between a few old run down buildings which makes it like a diamond in the rough.
• Amazing roof top city view with a sunset that we unfortunately missed.
1. Well located
2. Staff speaks perfect english
3. Quiet rooms
4. Its a hotel so you can leave the luggage before check-in (unlike most lodges that are entry with key codes and no reception)
Overall, good value ratio.
