You can’t find a better location in Madrid! My stay was made exceptional because of Pablo’s warm welcome at check in and his detailed list of recommendations. We crossed many things off the list, making our short visit to Madrid jam packed and so much fun! The double room was very comfortable and nicely arranged. Based on my research of other lodging options in Madrid, this double room is one of the largest available in this price range.

Hostel Maya is a very good value lodge located in the heart of Cercedilla. You definitely feel the atmosphere of being in the mountains. Clean and comfortable with lots of great eating options on your doorstep. The heated terrace outside Mayas restaurant provided good value food at all times of day, and there is a superb restaurant next door as well. Rooms basic but adequate, with decent bathroom. Easy to come and go from Hostel with freedom.

Good Location for a budget lodging. Shared frige and kitchen were great help.

The property was clean and the rooms were huge. Staff friendly and amenities excellent. Very quiet considering they are in central Madrid. Glass may be sound proof. We were on holiday with two other couples and they were staying at hotels more central similarly priced. The feedback we got from them on their hotels was noisy and slightly run down ‘travel lodge’ like. We totally lucked out with this hotel one and it was as close to many of the restaurants as them anyway.

Everything you would expect from a Travelodge, clean and comfortable. Only 10 mins walk to the nearest Metro station. 24 hour check in. Very reasonably priced.

My ratings don't reflect the value of the lodgings. The location of the property is superb. The price was very low relative to the quality of the room, which was quite adequate in every respect. The staff accommodated me for a check-in at a late hour and held my luggage after my check-out. The bed, room, bathroom were all adequate, and were an outstanding value given the low price that I paid for my accommodation. I will definitely seek out this property for additional stays.

We loved the owner Nicholas ,such a nice man .It's a family business and it feels like it . The lodges were lovely and a wee walk over to his bar and restaurant for a lovely meal . used by the locals so that tells you a lot .We will be back to stay as soon as possible. Thanks Nicholas!
