Forest Lodge is down a long gravel road and feels remote. The fire was on when we arrived and Hamish gave a friendly introduction. Kitchen had everything to cook, eat and clean, just bring food. Excellent wifi free of charge.

We arrived on a cold afternoon to find our room was cozy and warm with the heatpump running. Beautiful view from our well presented studio room. Very comfortable bed and good shower. It was handy having the restaurant and bar on site (lovely staff) and we appreciated the breakfast that was included, before we set off on our travels again. Would definitely stay again.

Loved this stay. Was cozy and very warm - I had to take layers off it was so cozy and warm. Bath was lovely inside with the window that opened the whole way so you could enjoy fresh mountain air while you soaked.
Percolated coffee was delicious also!
