The bed was amazing and so was the shower. We also loved how the hotel was decorated; lots to see (artwork, books, etc... not your standard hotel lobby) and the location was perfect for us: short walking distance to everything in Christchurch center. In the same courtyard as the hotel you can find a wine bar which is a lovely place to spend an evening. I cannot think of a single thing that I would suggest to change in this hotel. Our stay was simply perfect.

Central city apartment is set in the Christchurch City-Centre district of Christchurch, 400 metres from Hoyts Entx and 1.5 km from Christchurch Art Gallery. The property is 1.7 km from Christchurch Arts Centre. This was an excellent home from home apartment in a very good location for central Christchurch. The accommodation provided a well equipped kitchen, dining area, comfortable seating area, and a separate bedroom. We also found it very helpful having a washing machine as we'd already been on the road for 2 weeks with another 2 ahead of us. Lastly, the apartment came with its own off-street parking. We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay.

Lovely welcome from the staff, and given a choice of 2 rooms. Rooms were well equipped, well laid out. Bed was king size and very comfortable. Great shower and great laundry facilities, which was very useful for travelling guests. Great location just outside the city, close to Hagley Park and within 20-25 mins walk into the centre. Very friendly cat called Peanut greeted us every morning
