Start the hike around the lake early to avoid the crowds.
Start the hike around the lake early to avoid the crowds. Plenty of benches to stop for a rest. Some short steep sections but mostly level on the trail. Highly recommend the experience. With plenty of stops to enjoy the mountain and lake views it took us 3 hours to circumnavigate the lake. Take plenty of water and snack. Us the restroom before heading on the trail. The only toilet facility around the lake was closed. From the lake we visited the cable car in the afternoon. Rafting would be another good option.

The hotel is a jewel! We were upgraded to an apartment and it was amazing - spacious, comfortable, luxurious. The hotel is small, but has everything - good breakfast, wonderful staff (especially Boyan who was very kind and helpful and recommended many beautiful spots in the area), and a small spa, which is booked individually, so we enjoyed an hour in the spa to ourselves. There is a free parking in front of the hotel and it's close to the black lake. We've had an amazing experience and highly recommend this place.

This apartment was truly fantastic and one of the best I've ever stayed in. It's located in a new building and offers a cozy, clean, and well-equipped facility. The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful. The location is excellent, just a short walk from the city center and conveniently close to Durmitor Park and Black Lake. There are plenty of restaurants and supermarkets around. I highly recommend this place and would love to stay here again

This apartment is your choice if you wish to enjoy the nature around Durmitor. Black lake is a few minutes forest walk away, and you can easily start half-day or full-day hikes from the apartment. The view from the apartment is probably one of the best in the region.

The apartment has an excellent location - literally in the middle of things - restaurants, supermarket and the Black Lake -just a stone´s throw. The host - Maja - was very kind and helpful and gave us good tips where to go for a trip and where to go to eat. Our room was clean and cozy with a nice bathroom. We enjoyed our stay very much.

This apartment is in the ideal location to explore the area and easy access to the black lake. Nice and close to all the bars and restaurants and grocery stores. Our host was super helpful with our last minute booking and made our stay perfect in every way. Super clean, all the amenities we needed and easy parking. Love this apartment and our stay.

Friendly family owned lodging. Welcoming staff. We booked the apartment with a double bed and a single bed. Comfortable room(s)with a small balcony. Separate living room with couch and small refrigerator and electric kettle. No dishes or utensils in the room but they provided when asked. Spacious shower. Hardy breakfast included. Traditional foods served in the restaurant. Fresh trout was delicious. Nice selection of wines by the glass or bottle. full bar. Less than 15 minutes from Black Lake by car.

Great communication with hosts upon our arrival and during the stay. They are very friendly and gave us perfect tips where to go, what to see, where to eat. The place is very easy to find and it is 5 minutes walk to the center and 15-20 minutes walk to Black lake. Apartment is located in very quiet neighborhood and it has private parking place. It is just perfect for 2 travelers.

New apartment that has a spacious, modern, clean and simple interior. We really liked it and it was very comfortable to stay here. The location is really good: easy to reach and in walking distance from Žabljak center where you can find all necessities (supermarket, tourist info, bars, restaurants, ATM). Also, you can park your car in front of the accommodation for free. Black Lake and Durmitor National Park can easily be reached from here.
