Unfortunately we stayed only one night on our long way home. It is the closest town to the Ostrog monastery and a great starting point to discover Durmitor national park. We had an excellent traditional dinner in a local reataurant.

An undiscovered gem in the heart of Montenegro. You should definitely come and discover all the charms that this wonderful city has to offer. The food is fantastic with affordable prices, the service is phenomenal and the people are very nice and accommodating. The nature is untouched, lakes are amazing, history is very interesting.

Nicsik is a pleasant city between sea and mountains, less grim than podgoriza. I was looking forward to it in regards of food and drinks and fun unfortunately all the restaurants were closed due to coronations. Like I have to go back to tell more about it...not too touristy, good to be with the locals and have a realistic view of their way of life.

This town has publicized sights to see but most are closed or abandoned. It stopped as worked on our bus path for a place to spend the night but hoped for something. The fortess was hard to find and although abandoned it was worth a walk. Even the central park is unkept. Looks like a town Montenegro has forgotten. Lots of bars and cafe's if that is what you want.
Clean and cozy hotel in landhouse-style with excellent wifi (100 MBit/s downrate !!). Staff at the reception is very welcoming, friendly and speaks good english. Concerning the breakfast: we cannot understand the previous reviews, which of course we read, because it is just amazing! You can order what ever you want from the menu (coffee, juice, musli, eggs,…). In front of the hotel is a big tennis court, free parking and the hotel offers exclusive private spa (sauna and whirlpool) for 20€/1.5 h. All in all: good value for money
The place is kinda old building but when you enter the room it’s inviting and amazing because it’s really at the center center and the owner is really accommodating and nice. Everything is perfect on this place and the Wi-Fi is amazingly perfect because I am working on my laptop!😊

The owner is very kind, friendly and helpful. My room was upgraded without additional charge and I was allowed to check out later as I was sick and didn't really explore more when I stayed in Niksic. The room size is big, has kitchen and it's very clean. Owner speaks good English and provide a good recommendation for foods.
It was easy to find the hotel which is on a nice property with a spacious restaurant and beer garden beside it. The area around the hotel is nice and quiet at night. The room and bath were very clean and comfortable. Super friendly and helpful staff. Would choose it again next time.

very much like a four star hotel. But I is a square building from early days. Rooms were this day. If you are scared of yhe 60`s elevators, take the the stairs (joke) .Nice staff. Excuisite building. worth to spend more than one night.
The hotel also has a good restaurant, we had dinner and breakfast and they were both great. The reception was very friendly and the waiters in the restaurant were also very nice, all spoke English thus enabling easy communication.
OMG what a fantastic location. This refurbished stone cottage on the lake is the ultimate getaway. Only a few minutes out of Niksic Everything you could wish for is right on your doorstep including some great restaurants nearby.
The flat was easy to find, well located, true to the photos, clean and spacious, the hosts were really responsive and kind. Overall a great stay in Niksic, we will definitely consider returning.
