The bed was very large and comfortable, the curtains were thick enough so the early morning light hardly filtered through, the bath/shower was very nice.

WOW. This was a superior experience from start to finish. Rooms were art, welcome goodies gorgeous and delicious. Do yourself a favour and indulge in breakfast (behind the hidden door!!!) -- you honestly won't find a better one in the entire country. This is one of the best boutique hotels I've ever stayed in.
