    Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent location. Hotel surrounded by beautiful trees and lake Yamanakako with mount Fuji across the road. Really enjoyed relaxing in the onsen. There is a bar for drinks and all you can eat buffet with a large variety of tasty food. Highly recommend.

    My stay at the Murabito guesthouse was simply wonderful! First of all, kindness, sympathy, generosity and benevolence are the words that sum up the owners Marino and Kei well. In addition, they speak perfect English which makes communication much easier for people who do not speak Japanese. Then the house is really clean and the beds are really comfortable.Finally, the house benefits from an excellent location, very close to Lake Yamanakako and a beautiful view of Mount Fuji.     As advertised, the villa is located in a forest but not too deep inside, we are able to see Mount Fuji from our villa! It is a big and warm hut near to Lake Yamanakako, my parents slept in the room and we slept in the tatami area. You can cook/BBQ, there is small bath tub too:) The welcome drink coffee is tasty too!

    It is a very special place located near Lake Yamanakako with excellent views of Mt Fuji. The rooms are traditional ryokan with tatami mats and you have your own amenities to make tea or heat up something in the microwave. You are also about a 10 min walk from bus station and downtown - which has excellent places to eat and drink. Also the onsen was great and in the lounge area you could build a fire!

    The best position in Lake Yamanakako to view the Mt. Fuji! I can even view it from my room. Rooms are clean and comfy with a truly reasonable price. The host did speak great English and offered free bicycles. It was an awesome stay. Thanks :)

    We enjoyed the classical japanese room. The host was very friendly and helpful. Yabukiso is around 9 minutes from the closest bus station. From certain areas you can see Mt. Fuji from the house. We used the public bath from the house , rented a bike and had an overall nice experience near lake Yamanaka.

    Very nice location by Lake Yamanaka and quaint decor and architecture. The owner kindly insisted on giving me a lift to the bus station when she saw I was carrying a heavy bag. I couldn’t speak Japanese but understood all I needed to to be comfortable here.

    The hotel was situated right on Lake Yamanaka. We had a room with a view to the lake which was absolutely beautiful in the morning. There is free parking for hotel guests. Across from the hotel, you can rent bikes to cycle around the lake (14 km) and gives various views of Mt. Fuji. I also walked around the lake the following morning. Soaking in the communal bath at the end of an active day is good.
