QC Termeroma Spa and Resort, hotel in Ostia Antica

Boasting a wellness centre and a gym, the 5-star QC Termeroma Spa and Resort is located in the Oasi di Porto natural park, just and 3.5 km from Rome Fiumicino Airport and 5 km from the beach.

Overrated hotel, I found it too expensive for the level of services. Be careful, not all rooms include a spa by default (although why else would you come to this hotel). The spa is large and good, but it is not thermal water.

Hotel La Scaletta, hotel in Ostia Antica

Set right on the seafront in Ostia, a 30-minute train ride from Rome's historic centre, Hotel La Scaletta offers rooms with air conditioning, Wi-Fi access, and a flat-screen TV with satellite...

The property was across the road from the beach and it was a great price for the location. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent. We could not get a taxi to Rome and the staff informed us the best way is to catch a train and patiently explained the best station to get of near our hotel in Rome.

Ostia Antica

Once upon a time, Ostia was Rome’s gateway to the world. For centuries, it acted as the sea port of Ancient Rome, a busy hub of trade and a melting pot of exotic cultures and languages. Today, it’s a treasure trove of historical details, best understood with a guided tour.

Group of 8 of us travelling, we had 5 rooms between us all on one floor together which was really great. Rooms were all a good size with en suites. Access into the property was easy, with parking easily found on the road. Very clean, bedding changed every day which we were not expecting. Great location for exploring the local area if you have a car, good base to go view Ostia Antica archaeological site. Cafe below was very good, coffee was delicious.
