Excellent location, 20 minute walk to the train station for the train into Rome, 15 minutes walk from the awesome Ostia Antica archeological site. Lovely little town with a good supermarket, bakery, pizzeria.

Very clean and comfortable. A 13-minute drive from the airport within walking distance of restaurants and the old center of the town, which makes the overnight stay before a flight very comfortable and surprisingly good

Group of 8 of us travelling, we had 5 rooms between us all on one floor together which was really great. Rooms were all a good size with en suites. Access into the property was easy, with parking easily found on the road.
Very clean, bedding changed every day which we were not expecting.
Great location for exploring the local area if you have a car, good base to go view Ostia Antica archaeological site.
Cafe below was very good, coffee was delicious.

I was with two friends for 2 days and then on my own for 2 days. The hostess was very friendly and kind to me. She booked me a taxi to the airport to fly back to Australia. This was a relief to me as I don't speak Italian. My last 2 days, I caught the train to Rome. This was easy as I got off at Porta San Paolo ( about 20 min). I knew I would find my way back to the station easily as there were 2 massive landmarks in front of the station ( the pyramid and the gate of Sao Paola). I walked to trastevere ( busses and trams are possible) and climbed Piazzale Giuseppe Garibaldi and enjoyed seeing Fontana dell' Acqua Paola. The 2nd day I explored sights along Via del Corso and Centro Storico. At Porta Sao Paola/ Piramide, there are options to travel around Rome using the metro. Ostia Antica, besides having the attraction of the amazing ruins of the old Roman port, is a charming village with good restaurants and friendly staff. In addition, Ostia Antica is only about 12 minutes from Fiumicino Airport.
On second thought, we must add more to our review.
On second thought, we must add more to our review. We asked before booking about the time to get to the airport(for a very early flight), and the reply was "It only takes 15 minutes and we'll show you when you get here." It seemed okay, so we booked. But, in fact, it was 40 minutes, in just regular traffic. And, the cost was by taxi for 37 euros. We had to run through the airport and arrived at the gate with only 10 minutes to spare!! Very stressful and unfair to us.
When it said breakfast provided, we had to prepare it for ourselves. Also, the night before, we were told that the little town had several options for purchasing dinner but the options were closed. The place to buy ticket for the bus was closed, so we walked back the 1 km., maybe more, to get back. The hosts didn't seem to think about this.
The kindness nature of the hosts made us accept the situation with good humor and we tried to be positive. However, in hindsight, we were disappointed. Although thee accommodations itself and the hosts welcome was fine, we regret to say we cannot recommend booking here.

The owners were a lovely Italian couple who spoke enough english for us all to understand each other. Their home is in a great location that allowed us to walk to the ruins in Ostia Antica and to a place for dinner. I was near Christmas and the home was decorated nicely.
Their grandson drove us to the airport, for a charge of course, and we arrived in plenty of time for our flight.
We would stay there again, and recommend it to others.

We stayed one night.
We stayed one night.
It was a clean and comfortable place, the staff were helpful and friendly.
the transfer to the airport was easy and short.
the onsite resturant was good.
we did not have time to use any of the other facilities.
the included breakfast was a little sparce, just cake, pastry, juce and coffee.
the advertised glutin free options were not very obvious, however we did get 2 small packs of very nice busicuts for breakfast, that the waitress found out the back.
all in all a nice place for a stop over.

The archaeological site is enormous and slightly...
The archaeological site is enormous and slightly overwhelming; 5-6 hours was enough for me, although a second visit would have been good. There are some amazing sites there including mosaic flooring, some of which is unrestored and I was surprised to find it actually underfoot. The cafe in the site served lovely salads and hot dishes, not too pricey.
I didn't explore the town but ate at a good bistro for reasonable cost.
We chose to stay 1 night at La Casa di Elio e Italo before our early flight the next morning. We liked its location near Fiumicino airport, as well as being a 2 bedroom apartment.
The place is neat, clean, quiet (although its proximity to the airport), nicely decorated. It is minutes walking distance from antique center, restaurants and bars.
We also liked communication with Federica the owner, who is responsive and kind.
This casa is a great option for people visiting Ostia as well as before/after flights.
Being on a boat is a nice change of pace. Storage for the 2 of us was ample. My husband & I need separate beds; he got our own cabins with a sliding door between and shared a bathroom (with a bidet!). The owners are interesting, active & lovely, and can make you feel like old friends. She speaks English & Italian fluently. The ancient ruins of Ostia Antica, are just on the other side of the waterway. They offer dinner at a very reasonable price, though our schedule didn't allow for it.
very friendly and helpful staff. Hotel is attached to a bakery. There is a nice restaurant next door and grocery across the street. There is a 2000 year old port city archelogy site within walking distance and a pharmacy that was able to provide COVID test documents need to reenter the United States of America. The close proximity the international airport was the biggest attraction for me but a 20 minutes taxi is needed to get there.
Excellent location, 20 minute walk to the train station for the train into Rome, 15 minutes walk from the awesome Ostia Antica archeological site. Lovely little town with a good supermarket, bakery, pizzeria.
This apartment was excellent, very comfortable, quiet and clean with everything we needed. The hosts are amazing, very helpful and friendly with lots of advice for places to visit.
Our host willingly accommodated our late arrival after a long international flight. Attentive to our needs and the B&B was perfect place to settle and regroup before starting out on our holiday. Breakfasts were fab and we were cared for by our host and her grand daughter who ably assisted. Easy enough to walk to the town centre, ancient Ostia Antica and the Lido rail into Roma.
Very well located in a quite street, walking distance to the town centre (restaurants and supermarket) and the Ostia Antica ruins. Comfortable beds, good wifi, clean. Kitchen a little small, but had all the basics to cook simple meals. Hosts were very responsive and provided clear instructions about accessing the building.
The hotel staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. From check-in to check-out, they were polite and attentive to my needs. They provided helpful recommendations and were always available to assist me with any requests or inquiries.
The room was clean and well-maintained. The bed was comfortable,
Great location near archaeological site and medieval castle. Shops and cafe nearby. Area felt safe.
Excellent communication with owner re any questions. Met on arrival. Friendly welcome.
Very clean and comfortable with a well equipped kitchen if you wanted to cook.
Clean rooms , not big but nice . Nice stuff trying to help . Relatively close to Rome airport about 20 minutes drive , the parking is on the street near the property. Exactly what you need for one night stay before flight.
The apt was beautiful and perfectly located in a fortress/castle square with plenty of restaurants, cafe’s and right across the street from Ostia Antica.
Luca, is a very accommodating and most thoughtful host.
The check in was very easy, the instructions were helpful, the flat was very clean and neatly arranged. The centre of Ostia Antica is within walking distance and has lovely cafés and restaurants
Beautiful apartment right inside the Borgo, beside the church and castle, easy walk to the ruins. Lovely restaurants nearby, simple instructions for entry on arrival, everything was fantastic.
The location is in a street that is close to the park in Ostia Antica, and from there it is possible to drive to nice areas such as Tivoli and Castelli Romani. The street is quiet and safe.
Everything was amazing, so clean, perfect bed, perfect kitchen, even place for rest outside, there is a place for a car nearby. Great owner and his colleague Natalia
