We booked the Best Western at the last minute, due to our flight being cancelled, due to a French air traffic controllers strike and are pleased that we did. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful and special mention to Simona and Viktor in the restaurant who although busy found time for everyone and appeared to be genuinely enjoying their work, which always makes for a good evening. The quality of the food was also very good and reasonably priced. Breakfast was especially good with a wide selection of cheese and meats and cakes and pastries many of which are produced at the hotel - very good value for €10 each. The rooms were clean and comfortable and although under one of the flight paths, as long as the window was shut, very quiet. We used the hotel shuttle to get from the airport to the hotel and back again the next day, reasonable value at €8 each way. the hotel even has a pool and it was a great place to relax with a beer!

We had a great stay at the hotel! We were there only for 1 night for an early flight and it was nice. We chose the hotel specially for being close to the airport and for the free 24h shuttle service (every 15 minutes). It was easy to get from the airport and back. The beds were comfortable, shower was good, and the rooms were clean. I would recommend it!

Fiumicino is best known for its access to the Eternal City through Leonardo Da Vinci International Airport. Despite this recent claim to fame, Fiumicino includes several archaeological sites around the ancient harbors of Ostia and Portus. It's also an important fishing center and summer resort, especially along the beaches and coves of Isola Sacra.
Hosting the busiest airport in Italy and the sixth busiest in Europe, the town has grown in a series of services that fit with these suburban functions. Examples are the Fiera di Roma conference center, or the Parco Leonardo recreation center.
The town of Fiumicino is 20 miles from central Rome, while Da Vinci Airport is 19 miles away from the Italian capital. The remains of Ostia Antica are less than 6 miles away.
Like many airports in the world, you can find hotels in Fiumicino Airport directly on its premises, providing effortless access to your flights.
Since most Fiumicino hotels are in the Isola Sacra area, you might get the chance to enjoy the Tyrrhenian beaches and the tasty Italian seafood.

Fiumicino is a charming and real town without the trappings of tourism. There are plenty of restaurants, bars and shops that seem to cater to more locals than tourists. It was fun to wander about and soak up the atmosphere of this real fishing town.

The location close to the airport was good for us and the time that we had available.
The port was a short walk away and had good restaurants and a nice vibe.
The breakfast was OK, simple and adequate for us. It would have been improved if we had access to more than just a kettle and coffee machine as we got a takeaway pizza and had no plates. Would suggest that other travellers eat at the pizza shop itself.

We often choose to stay in Fiumicino as a staging area either upon arrival or departure from Roma (FCO airport). It has a sort of edgy border town vibe to it that makes it feel more authentic. It has a nice promenade along the mouth of the river with many cafes, bars, & restaurants; you can fall into a bad tourist place or find a nice authentic trattoria, and also some very posh establishments; most featuring local fish.
It is close to the airport so it's convenient and the prices for a room are lower than going into Rome proper.

Not an airport hotel..
Not an airport hotel..
Arrived by taxi late as shuttle had finished for the night.
I thought the price of my room was great value
Until…
I added my taxi ride from the airport €30 then the following day shuttle back to the airport €10
I should have stayed at the 4star option beside the airport as it would have been less expensive

It reminds me of the beautiful city of Trieste on north-east Italian coast. Walking to the sea while seeing la bella porta. There were many restaurants in Fiumicino. Many of them sea-based. You will find good priced napoletana pizaa and some more interesting italian restuarants.
I will come to visit this beautiful city again. instead of just bella roma

This hotel is wonderfully quiet high efficiency windows no airport noise. The airport is well signed and the hotels around it are in a quiet country setting. Customs and immigration only took 1 minute. It is clean attractive and quick to negotiate with real people to help you.
We wanted to stay close to the airport and found this slice of heaven! The hosts (Armando and Roberta) are absolutely outstanding! We were personally greeted as our taxi arrived and helped to our rooms. The fridge was stocked with complimentary snacks. The rooms are spotless, nicely decorated and comfortable. The hotel is walkable to the cute town of Fiumicino with lots of restaurant options. Armando greeted us in the morning before our taxi arrived with packed lunches. We wish we could of stayed longer! Highly recommend!
I stayed just for one night as I needed to be close to the airport. The hotel is just one train stop away from the airport and is more affordable than the hotels in the airport. However the train between the hotel and the airport doesn't ride at night, so if you're arriving or leaving at night, you'll need to either take a taxi or arrange a shuttle service with the hotel. The staff was helpful arranging a shuttle for me to get to the airport early in the morning.
The location was perfect. The hotel is about 10 mins to Roma Fiumicino airport and easy to reach with the shuttle they provide. Also, there is a train station called Fiumicino Parco Leonardo just next to the hotel. But there was no noise to bother you. And there was a huge shopping centre nearby (just 1 minute away from the hotel). It was good for us to access the food court and grocery shop. The staff at the reception was also very helpful and friendly.
We needed a nice spot close to the airport, but didn't want to spend a lot of money on the hotels close by. We fount this great little B&B and the host could not have been nicer. She drove us into the town of Fiumicino and explained things as we went. She also made arrangements to have us picked up on the morning of out flight. The only thing left to do was to enjoy the amazing breakfast that she prepared for us. Thank you!! :-)
Great pit stop near Fiumicino airport. I only needed a place to stay for the night, so this was the perfect one night stay. The hotel has a shuttle (additional fee) and will pick you up and drop you off at the airport. Breakfast is included, which was also great. You place your breakfast order the day before and they have it ready for you in the morning. There is also an option to have it delivered to your room.
The hotel is well situated for both Fiumicino airport (and nearby parking sites) and also for restaurants and bars (five to ten minutes walk away). Parking onsite was useful. Rooms were modest in size but comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was continental style and ok. The hotel was a good place to stay before a morning flight and we would recommend it.
This is a nice hotel close to Fiumicino airport. It is about 10 min by car and they have a shuttle (not free) that you can order. We arrived very late and the welcome of the person at reception was efficient and nice. Breakfast was nice. Overall we stayed very briefly so not much to comment on. The pool looked nice but we did not test it.
This is a lovely little hotel only 15 minutes from Fiumicino airport. The one challenge is simply taxi transportation to their location. However, Giovanni and Federica were great and offered a shuttle both ways. We only used it in the return but the driver, Giuseppe, was very punctual. All in all, a good stay at a great price.
We stayed in 7 different hotels on our holiday to Italy and Greece, this place was the cleanest of them all. It is very close to FCO and they have a 10€ airport shuttle that can’t be beat. The owners are very helpful and friendly. We stayed here 1 night after returning from Greece and leaving it the US the next morning.
After two weeks of quirky European hotels and before an early flight, this room was a breath of familiar fresh air. It's as generic and predictable as a hotel can get, and there's nothing wrong with that! It's also very conveniently attached to the airport via walkway - can't beat that.
Pleasantly surprised! Booked near to airport for an early flight next day. Clean hotel, large pool and pretty good restaurant connected to hotel. Loved option of having 1 king with 2 twin beds in 1 room. Shuttle was important but crucial to book as it is shared by multiple hotels.
Such a nice cozy hotel, 5 minutes by taxi from the airport (FCO). The staff is amazing, fantastic breakfast, they even gifted us with a complimentary small bottle of home made liquor. Much better than the big chains, a true Italian experience in the heart of Fiumicino town.
The Hotel Tiber offered an excellent bus shuttle service to and from Fiumicino Airport. It also included a very good breakfast. There are a number of wonderful restaurants within walking distance. The rooms have a wonderful outlook on to the port.
A welcome surprise was the fact that there is a little shop where you can buy a snack or salad after midnight. Having chosen the hotel because of the late arrival at Fiumicino Airport, being able to eat something decent after arrival was good.
This place is PERFECT for what it is..a hotel to hang out in Fiumicino or a Hotel to wait away from the hustle and bustle of Rome to await your early morning flight! Airport shuttle was handy and reliable!
Very nice location in Fiumicino, near the seaside, a lot of restaurants and shops. The hotel has a shuttle from/to the airport. Good breakfast. Big room and nice balcony.
The restaurant. Room at ground level looked out on the garden. The overall ambiance felt Italian unlike other US chain hotels at the airport. A nice way to end our trip.
