Breakfast was lovely.
The country location was perfect for us, lots of local walks for the dog and peaceful location with beautiful village church. Our room was spacious with a beautiful bathroom with a fabulous jacuzzi bath. Also asked for a room with a view and had a wonderful view of Glastonbury Tor.

Cave tour well conducted, very good, lots of info. I didn't realise they had such a long and varied history. I liked the paper mill also; never been over one before. IF I still had children, I know they would have enjoyed the other assorted amusements.

We visited in March 2024...4 adults which cost £97.00. the tour took 30 minutes and alot of the chambers were shut due to rain and water levels ..not explained on booking. So would advise that you don't visit this time of the year

The location of the hotel is really good if you want to do the Wookey Hole caves and mill and the film about the divers exploring the caves is well worth watching when you do the experience. The bedrooms are really large. We arrived with a trailer and there was no trouble parking it in the extensive car park.
Lovely clean hotel, right next to wookey hole caves. Free parking if you stay at hotel and if you let them know you are going to wookey hole caves you get 10% off entrance price
I loved the location of the hotel, a rural setting but close enough to Wells City Centre.

Great location for wookey hole caves. We went to Wookey hole for the day, initially when paying for tickets I thought it was a bit over priced, but once inside had a fantastic day. Would suggest taking a picnic, as lots to do one inside.
Staff exceptionally cheerful and helpful; Good extensive parking at this time of the year; very attractive location as long as you are not put off by all the Wookey Hole caves razzmatazz right next to the hotel. no problem with noise - just the visuals. Also you need to be prepared to drive along narrow roads for access
A lovely little hotel perfect for families and ideally located for a visit to Wookey Hole caves and the surrounding Somerset area. Good food and a pleasant vibe. Plenty of free parking available.

It was great to find that the hotel is literally at Wookey hole caves and we had a great holiday. The room was a good size for 4 of us and had space for our stuff and tea-making facilities. The games room in the back conservatory was handy.
If your visiting Wookey Hole Caves the entrance is less than 50 meters away.
We ate at the restaurant in the evening znd the food was very good and reasonably priced.
Good selection of breakfast which was tasty
The young lady who looked after us in the evening and also was there at breakfast was excellent
