Breath taking. Amazing. Beautiful.
Breath taking. Amazing. Beautiful. My most favourite mountain. But remember as touristy as it is, it's still a mountain you are climbing and conditions can change quickly so wear proper clothing and shoes and take plenty of water and food.

It is an old fashioned hotel, which I like. It was quite expensive but that is Snowdonia on August Bank Holiday. Excellent shower water pressure :-) Excellent location.
The location is perfect - situated in the centre of Snowdonia National Park, with all the main attractions of North Wales nearby and plenty of lovely walks which start right at the hotel. The staff were exceptionally helpful and kind - providing us with a constant supply of very welcome tea! The restaurant area has wonderful views - perfect for collecting thoughts on the next activity.
The location was amazing! We did the Snowdon Ranger Path which was only an 8minute drive. It meant we could chillout before and after. The apartment itself was spacious and had great facilities for cooking including a dishwasher.
Beddgelert is beautiful.
Welcoming and friendly staff who found time to talk with guest. Owners have created a beautiful space with lovely communal areas where guest can get together. The feeling I had being there was like a backpackers hostel from my overseas travel days but in a much, much nicer setting. Continental breakfast lovely served in beautiful dining/ lounge area. Would definitely recommend as a place to stay when visiting Snowdonia.
A value for money hotel, bar and pub grub in the heart of Snowdonia so if you're looking for a country hotel this isn't for you. This was our third visit and we have never been disappointed. Good choice at breakfast, friendly staff and the hotel was clean throughout. Quiet nights sleep, just what I needed after a day walking.
The location was within about 10 minutes walk from the village of Beddgellert and just a minutes walk to a walking trail that takes you around a picturesque lake and across to one of the many trails around Snowdon. The hotel itself is accessed up a very steep drive which is quite narrow in parts but does afford it some lovely views. Very friendly people, with an honesty bar, dart board and chess board all set up so very cosy. The breakfast was cooked to order and brought to our table and very tasty. Walking distance to restaurants and bars.
This grade 2 listed hotel is ideally located for Snowdonia and the surrounding stunning countryside .. The staff are very friendly and couldn’t do enough for you and the breakfast was superb. It has a very old world feel about it and I wish the new managers luck in making improvements to the building,as it’s a very old hotel… I would thoroughly recommend this hotel
Location on doorstep of Snowdonia & good walks available direct from hotel. Local village just 15min walk away with selection of pubs and restaurants, needed as 2 nights of 3 night stay were when the guest house does not do evening service.
Service was great, we were upgraded to a larger room. Everyone working in the hotel was very kind. The breakfast was excellent. Perfect location for Snowdon. Super dog friendly.

Parking in Llanberis is cheaper and has more options than at Pen-y-pass (£10 per day vs £4 / £7 per day) so from Llanberis, leave your car and take the Snowdon Sherpa bus to Pen-y-pass in the morning and go on the Pyg Track or Miners Track to the summit of Snowdon and then descend the mountain via the Llanberis Path so you do not have to go up and down the same route.
