The most beautiful location with stunning views
Next to the river, next door to lots of restaurants, opposite a beer garden. Grocery store 2mins walk. Beautiful walks all around. A short drive to the Snowdon peak where you can take the train to the top.
Large, everythingyou could need, very clean, modern, great shower, the list goes on.
You have to stay more than two nights, it is that beautiful in Beddgelert.
Just 30 metres from the ancient stone bridge in the centre of the village, The Coach House and Glaslyn Gallery offers accommodation in the village of Beddgelert.

Perfect location for the Watkin Path up Snowdon – just a couple of minutes walk down the road. The camping pod was clean and having a kettle was handy. Nice seating spot outside the pods where we cooked our breakfast (need to take your own camping stove, though). Shower was great too! Beddgelert is a 5 minute drive away for some good places to eat and pubs.

The food at the pizzeria was great too.
I would recommend it and definitely come back for a longer stay.

The village was great but the Royal Goat Hotel was not worth the money. Staff were friendly and made up for the poor quality hotel but the food was terrible. chips where mostly black and naan bread was burnt and salad was smelly and slimey and the lamb rogan josh was very chewy and didn’t taste of anything. however i was poorly for 1 1/2 days afterwards. that night i was in the loo most of the night.

this is a fantastic part of north Wales, only 20 minutes drive to mount Snowden and 30 minutes drive to most popular activities in the area,
there are a hand full of pubs and restaurants to choose from that all do food and you have one of the best ice cream shops in the uk to visit in beddgelert

A lovely village in the depths of Snowdonia.
A lovely village in the depths of Snowdonia. Accessible by bus (30 mins from Porthmadog) or heritage train from Porthmadog or Caernarfon. Choice of pubs offering food; also an ice cream parlour. Good village shop, but if you need a wider choice be prepared to drive elsewhere. Good choice of pub-hotels and self-catering accommodation.

Beddgelert was where we spent many happy family holidays, forty+ years ago, and I felt like reminiscing.
The beauty of the village and area still blew me away.
I now have mobility difficulties, so was unable to do the walking I used to, but proximity to the rivers and mountains made it easy for me to still drive and take lots of photographs.
Most necessities are available in the village stores, and anything else can be found on a quick visit to Porthmadog.
I didn't realise how reliant I had become on technology 🤦🏼♀️ so having no phone signal threw me for a while, then became a blessing. Wi-Fi is available when signed in to a local network.
Recent popularity has been gained through Beddgelert being used as a filming location in "Mr Bates vs The Post Office" , and I was lucky enough to have accommodation above Bistro Hebog, whose garden was used.
What can I say? The people are wonderfully kind and friendly; Beddgelert is better than home from home.

A lovely village with good walks.
A lovely village with good walks. Bus services to Pen-y-pass and Canaerfon. Book places to eat in advance as get full. Lovely cafe by river opposite side of bridge. With outside kiosk, garden.
Easy reach of many sights and places to visit.
Shame about our hotel, looks lovely outside, room awful.

Lovely little village with plenty of walks on the doorstep.
Lovely little village with plenty of walks on the doorstep. You can do an extended walk all the way up to Snowdon with the option of a bus or train (when it’s running) on the way back. Small array of shops and eateries but the Bistro Hebog had some of the nicest food at a great price we had had for a while. People were friendly and it was great to have a decent outdoor store in such a little village. Worth returning to explore more of the area.

Staff were lovely and attentive, room had just been refurbished and bed was very comfortable. Food was delicious, with a fantastic selection for breakfast. Finished off our holiday with a Sunday lunch which was fantastic, very reasonably priced and delicious. Location of the hotel is brilliant, with amazing views and close locale to many beautiful walks
Friendly, welcoming staff and a very comfortable hotel with great food, both at breakfast and evening meals at the weekend.
The hotel is uphill, just outside Beddgelert with great views along the valley. It's only about 15 mins walk along the access road and a path beside the river into the village. A lovely, quiet spot.
Highly recommended.
Everything what you need, but than more for campsite. Feels like your camping but you'll have all luxery of a hotel.
(if you want to book, it's also possible to book via the Bryan Dinas website)
Location is amazing in such a beautiful part of Wales and stunning walks and rides. The hotel was in a cracking location rooms were well kitted out and breakfast was very tasty
Absolutely beautiful room & hotel. Spotlessly clean. The most comfortable bed …. Didn’t want to get up for hiking :)
Great location too. Will definitely be back.
