Excellent location just up the road from Duxford Air Museum. The room was clean and comfortable with plenty of tea, coffee, milk, and biscuits . The owner has kindly put an information pack in the room, which includes menus for nearby pubs, etc, which is very handy. The property is in a lovely, peaceful residential area with a lovely pub ( The Plough) within walking distance.

My stay here was booked as a treat by my wife, and a treat it was! Although only a brief 2 night stay, it was exceptional. Janet and her husband were very welcoming on my arrival and throughout my stay. The accommodation is well situated away from the main road in a quiet area, but at the same time, it is well located for a visit to the Imperial War Museum Duxford, which is where I was headed during my stay. The B&B is exceedingly well appointed and very comfortable. The interior is tastefully decorated with a nice touch of class. I was able to come and go as I needed. The bedroom was very comfortable indeed and had everything I required - ensuite, internet, coffee making facilities etc. The breakfast was spectacular! Plenty of variety and enough to set me up for the whole day! Janet was even kind enough to present me with a small cake with a candle for my birthday, which I celebrated during my stay. A lovely, thoughtful touch from a welcoming host. Thank you! :-)

Our host was very welcoming. We were invited to sit out on the patio whenever we wanted. The rear of the property overlooks farmland and the garden is lovely. The self-contained annexe used to be a single garage, so space is at a premium. However it has been very well thought through and was very comfortable for two. One side of the double bed is against the side wall, so clambering in and out required some practice. The shower is excellent. The basin in the bathroom is very small. The ring binder containing instructions for the combination microwave/oven and the shower also has very useful information about public transport and local eateries. All in all, very happy indeed with our stay. Access to the City Centre was easy by road from the property.
The location was ideally located for our trip to The Imperial War Museum at Duxford. A beautiful thatched building housing the bar and restaurant. Bar staff were excellent. The manager was a bit odd.
Good food, cozy room, nice staff and a lovely village to explore as well as being within walking distance of the Duxford Imperial War Museum. Breakfast was really nice since I was half expecting a beans on toast situation. Luckily a variety of breakfast options were laid out and all of it was delicious! The room came with a heater and TV as well as a kettle with tea bags, chocolate milk and coffee.
The Location was excellent for visiting the Imperial War Museum (IWM) at Duxford.
The breakfast was good although lack of cereals was noted.
The Evening Meal of Pan Seared Salmon was excellent and full compliments to the chef were extended.
The Staff were Excellent and made one feel very welcome.
Will definitely use The Lodge again
This was a lovely hotel to stay in to visit the Duxford Imperial War Museum, as it was extremely close and convenient. The staff were very welcoming and friendly, the room was very well turned out, and stylishly and comfortably furnished. The bathroom was an excellent size and the bed was very comfortable. We paid for breakfast to be included and chose the cooked breakfast which was very enjoyable.
