Breakfast and dinner was good.
Bedroom/ bathroom and lounge area are very old fashioned and need updating and fresh paint and wallpaper.
Upholstery in the front lounge area is looking very tired and dirty looking. Not what you expect from a five star hotel.
Television is too small in the bedroom and we did expect to have a small fridge in and executive room.

Eastbourne Pier
Eastbourne Pier is a classic starting point for walks up Beachy Head. This is where you don your jacket, double-check your maps, make sure your flask is full – and steel yourself for the climb ahead! It’s a beautiful thing in its own right, with charming buildings that hark back to a golden age of British seaside resorts.

The location of this 4-star hotel near Eastbourne Pier is a major plus. Most hotels on the seafront are showing their age, but the Langham Hotel seems to be much better maintained.
