Staff were helpful. Room really big and clean. Food choice great and very tasty breakfast. Getting a lift to and from Cooling Castle Barn was a huge bonus so thank you :)
The sports day advertised for the next day sounded really fun and a great community idea. Also will be back to see the classic cars parked up around the green (an event organised by the pub once a month apparently)
Really lovely place to stay- I imagine it is used predominantly for weddings at Cooling Castle Barn. The shuttle taking to and from the wedding was an absolute god-send. Breakfast was excellent too. Big recommendation.
Stayed here after a wedding at Cooling Castle, and cant compliment the staff enough the room was lovely the service was excellent breakfast was lovely and added bonus we were driven to the venue and picked up after the wedding. Highly recommend this pub.
This place is such a rare gem. I was attending a wedding at Cooling Castle Barn and decided to stay here. It really is so stunning, supremely clean and so comfortable and homely. The views are unreal and the vibe is just so serene from the minute you step foot inside. I've decided to return for a weekend break in the near future. Hazel was so warm and lovely and I felt like I'd known her for some time. She made me the most delicious breakfast - just what I needed. Highly recommend. You won't be disappointed.
Rooms are spacious and modern. decorated nicely and clean. breakfast was lovely. managed to walk to the hotel from cooling castle barn which was a 40minute walk along the country roads.
