The Driftwood is an excellent little hotel. The Staff can not do more for you, the rooms are great quality and the breakfast was excellent. It was our first time popping in to Bexhill and when we return The Driftwood would definitely be our first choice. Highly recommend.

So glad we booked the Relais Cooden Beach, we had a lovely stay and wished we were staying longer. The interiors have been tastefully refurbished, the staff were extremely helpful and the room very comfortable. We were a little confused and thought that the hotel was actually in Bexhill (which it isn’t) but there is a frequent train to Bexhill right next to the hotel and the hotel kindly arranged taxis for us for the evening. Thanks for having us!

Fantastic stay in this very comfortable and clean cottage. Great location for a play and stay at Cooden Beach golf club. Loved sitting in the garden enjoying a drink after golf. So much nicer than being cooped up in a hotel room.

We absolutely loved The Cooden Beach. The weather outside was frightful, but the fire inside delightful. It was warm, cozy and very welcoming. The staff were so lovely and helpful. We mostly ate inside the hotel having visited family in the area during the day. The food was delicious. Everything we had was exceptional. The staff couldn't do enough. It was lovely talking to Ben S. Andre was fabulous at dinner. Robert at breakfast. And the Reception and Housekeeping team super. Thank you to all of them for making our stay perfect.

Quiet location, road not busy. Easy access to Cooden Beach, Little Common village and Bexhill. Walking distance to Little Common where enough shops to buy basics, Has a Tesco Express, bakery, dellicatesan and a good Indian restaurant. Property was a clever design for a limited space with all amenities and very comfortable. Car parking available in front of property which was very convenient.

The hotel is located on the Cooden Beach, so we loved long walks by the beach and not having to worry about parking or travel. We used the swimming pool and the gym and the facilities were as expected.
