The food at the Punch Bowl was exceptional, generous portions and very reasonably priced. The staff at the Punch Bowl were very friendly and professional and nothing was to much trouble for them. The location was spot on for us as our prime objective was to visit Beamish open air museum which was only a couple of miles away and a 10 minute drive to get there. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for somewhere to stay in this part of the country.
