It was very exciting staying in a castle and very luxurious. And excellent value for money. The stairs were a bit narrow but what you would expect in a castle.

The breakfasts were excellent. The variety leaves no-one disappointed. The price at £15 was excellent value. The hotels proximity to the Beamish Museum Park is the best in the area.
Hotel room was as expected, nice welcoming, room was a little bit cold but we were told by the lady on the bar when we checked in that we come use a portable heater, which was great..bed was soo comfy , breakfast was a 10+, lovely friendly staff, nothing was too much trouble, plenty of free parking too, garage close by, and with us visiting Beamish museum it was a 5 min drive away, will definately book again later in the year, and visit Beamish too again.
Booked Beamish Hall Hotel as it's right next (1 mile drive) to the Beamish Museum. It was also my wife's birthday weekend. From the Reception staff contacting me regarding booking a restaurant reservation to completing my request for flowers and champagne to be placed in the room upon arrival, everyone was absolutely fantastic. Always welcoming no matter how many times we left or entered the hotel. And the room - so spacious and well kept; impressed myself and wife with the quality of the room.
Handy location for Beamish museum.hotel was undergoing refurbishment so hard to rate it properly, but the room was very clean and comfortable, and the staff where very pleasant.
The location for the Beamish museum is great. The local fish shop The Fish Inn is lovely and great food.

Lovely spacious room, very clean and very modern. The decor throughout the hotel was also very modern and in good order.
Great breakfast served till 10am. We also ate in the restaurant on the evening and had a lovely meal.
The hotel is very close to Beamish Museum (about 5 minutes by car) which was the main reason we chose to book.
