A very comfortable Japanese family home with a mix of modern and traditional features. Each room had an air-conditioner which allowed for cosy ambient temperatures throughout our 8 nights in mid December that dropped to 2 degrees celsius on some nights. The property is very clean and is located in a quiet residential area, very close to the train station but far enough not to hear the sound of the trains. The owner is a very kind and friendly person and also very quick to respond to messages in English and provided us with detailed and easy to understand information which was helpful. There are a number of convenience stores and a large supermarket also. Getting to the accommodation from Kansai airport was also fairly straightforward. We thoroughly enjoyed staying here as kids got to sleep on tatami mats and futon (while parents slept in normal beds). I definitely recommend this accommodation especially for families who want to experience living in a Japanese home.

The property was clean and had good facilities. We are both Australian travellers of medium build, and we could easily move about, sleeping on floor mattresses was comfortable for us, very warm as we travelled at the end of winter. quiet location near a very good supermarket which was great as we stayed for 10 days (attending a yoga retreat nearby), and enjoyed buying food pre-prepared meals etc when we didn't feel like eating out on a couple of occasions. Very close to Kohama train station and we found it very easy to get about in Osaka using the train systems.

Looking for a hotel with jacuzzis?

Stepping into a hot tub and relaxing in its warm water is bliss. If you opt for a hotel with a jacuzzi, you can do this any time you like – morning, afternoon, or evening. Some hotels offer guests private hot tubs, while others have a shared jacuzzi that’s usually part of a wellness spa.

The welcoming staff were very polite and accommodating. They helped with my children while I was checking in, which was very helpful for me. I liked the location and the view of the city from our room. The room is spacious and the breakfast buffet is good.

Bed in Capsule unit was comfortable. Space sufficient to sit up and get changed. Sound proof was ok, can't hear the snoring. Value for money to just have a place to relax and stay overnite. Recommended to use own transport to get here. Dinner at the onsite restaurant was also delicious.

Staff were very friendly and hospitable. Room was more spacious than other twin rooms I've encountered in Japan too. Included breakfast was very welcome and they were happy to modify for vegetarian diet.

APA hotel standard as to be expected. Waterfront is close. The area is relaxed and low key in total contrast to Osaka proper. Has all the facilities you need. Only 10 minutes on the rapid local train.

The price is unbeatable especially for big families like mine. Location is quite convenient. At least for our plan to be somewhere between Nara and Osaka. Nearby there is a mall that you can get food and stuff. Has its own parking space which accommodates fair number of cars.
