East End, Galveston
Complete with a private bathroom equipped with a shower and free toiletries, all units at the inn have a flat-screen TV and air conditioning, and some rooms will provide you with a balcony. At The 1890 Freeman House every room is fitted with bed linen and towels. Excellent stay with excellent location located at the city center, extremely clean & comfortable. Before arrival we received an email from Shannon that made our trip more interesting with her advice & tips about the city, supermarket, shops, restaurants bars are within walking distance. Would recommend The 1890 Freeman House to everybody! It's a true sample of excellent hospitality. Thank you again Shannon for going just that little step extra for the guests!!!
McAllen

Everything was basically new or recently renovated. The staff efficient, the rooms spotless and the breakfast good. Location was fine for exploring the island and parking good. Excellent value for money.
Orange
The Comfort Inn hotel is just off Interstate 10 and just minutes from the Stark Museum of Art. A flat-screen TV is offered in every room at this Comfort Inn.
Each room is furnished with a microwave, refrigerator, coffee machine, work desk and ironing facilities. Each en suite bathroom features a curved shower rod and hair dryer. Select rooms feature a sofa bed.
The location was perfect. The hotel was clean, staff were so nice, the room was comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was nice and served early which was a bonus.
Humble
Located in Humble, Wingate by Wyndham Humble/Houston Intercontinental Airport is in an area with great airport proximity. Old Town Spring and Houston National Cemetery are local landmarks, and some of the area's attractions include Schott Park and Hirsch Memorial Park. Very clean and close to airport. Airport shuttle included which made the early flight easy!
McAllen
Clarion Inn features a restaurant that serves traditional Mexican cuisine. Other amenities include a complimentary hot breakfast buffet, a local area service shuttle, a meeting space and complimentary WiFi. The staff at Clarion Inn in McAllen is absolutely excellent. Liz at the front desk went above and beyond to make sure my stay was great. David who drove the shuttle was very helpful and also went the extra mile. And Ludy (sp?) who picked me up from the airport was so helpful and courteous - all staff worked hard and did so with a positive attitude and a smile. I would be glad to come back to the Clarion. I've been visiting this place for the past 7 years.

I booked a shuttle to and from the cruise port through The Scottish Inn and everything was on time and pleasant, including staff and drivers...
couldn't use the more toast milk and juice and they can put some meat in that gravy but the business and gravy was good but it just needed some meat in it and potatoes and stuff that needed some sweets like some muffins and some cinnamon rolls and just sweets and I don't think that's about it.
Well, there was one staff member (short, lighter skinned black man with piercings) who was very welcoming, knowledgeable about (everything) and eager to help
Staff was very helpful and kind. Gave us ideas of places to have nice food dinner.
Very impressive for the price and check in age. Check in age is 18, and most nice hotels are 21+. 18 check in is generally inns and motels, but this HOTEL was super nice with a low check in age. The rooms are comfortable, I got a two bed suite, it had a couch and a BIG bathroom, and costed ~$200 for 3 nights. It also has a really nice breakfast selection, specifically waffles! And they're Texas shaped!

Great location, as places for Breakfast (C Barrel) and several for dinner are just closeby. Same with Interstate 10.
Definitely old and these update. The jacuzzi is horrible. It advertises as indoor but it's actually outdoors and all the stones concrete are broken dirty filled with disgust around it.. internet is not consistent it's in and out. Also the phone does not work You can't call down to the front desk You actually have to call them from your cell or go down. Worst comfort Inn I have ever experienced
Location was PERFECT for walking to dinner, seeing the Astro's game and live music at The Rustic plus so many food options right on sight of the hotel itself; staff was super helpful especially with when the best times of the pool were and how to get a chair; the staff at the pool was so attentive with drinks/service; the room/bed was very comfortable and clean and the shower was very nice.
