What a luxurious place! Spotlessly clean, large and modern room, comfortable bed, lots of blankets and a small heater. I was the only one of my group tour staying here and the only one who wasn't terribly cold during the night. Breakfast was perfect and available from 5.30. Superb location, right next to a few shops, an ATM and several restaurants. Had a great night's sleep!
Cabanaconde

The facilities seem brand new. We had a spacious room, with a comfortable bed, bathroom/shower, and a balcony. The rooms are cozy. Hot shower if you shower mid-day during peak sunlight. The staff are easy-going and friendly. Their continental breakfast is delicious (coffee/tea, jam, fresh bread, avocado, egg). Their rooftop bar has delicious drinks and a happy hour. We were able to store our bags for our 3 day trek. Look no further in Cabanaconde
Chivay

Politely staff and good location
Basic facilities but fine for one night The swimming pool had warm water in it but didn’t really look clean enough to swim Decent dinner and good breakfast (pancakes :) ) The main area had various games, such as chess, pool and cards, free for guests Shower was warm
This really enjoyed our stay here and would totally recommend. The had warm showers and really comfy beds with extra blankets. The also got a hairdryer if you ask them. The breakfast was amazing and they even got a pizza oven, where they serve fresh pizza for dinner. Really cosy atmosphere and the owner and his wife are really helpful for planning your hikes for the canyon.
Staff was extremely friendly and prepared a yummy and filling dinner for a very fair price. The hot pool is a great treat after hiking to the stay. Everything was very clean. The facilities are basic but do the trick. Room was also very comfortable for spending a night.
The staff make this place an absolute gem. Ludwig and his partner are incredibly warm, hospitable and knowledgeable about hiking in the area. They took time to walk us through various hikes, gave us a map (that they made and which is incredible). The food they serve is also delicious, we had breakfast lunch and dinner there !
The room was basic but comfortable. Very friendly staff and huge portions for dinner!
This hotel feels like a luxury stay at the bottom of the Colca. It's in a breathtaking location filled with banana trees, hummingbirds, animals and of course, the hot thermal baths and hammock with a view,, which are a great reward after hiking down from the Cabanaconde. The rooms are comfy and you'll have a peaceful sleep down here. Meals are decent, includes dinner and a nice breakfast (pancakes). For the price, it's an absolute slice of heaven at the bottom of the Colca.

Great thermal bath, friendly and organized staff and decent room. Good dinner for trekking.
We had a great stay at Colibri Inn, the bed was massive and very comfy, and they gave us jugs of hot water and tea/coffee to make in the room which was great. The absolute best part though was Lizbeth, who greeted us on reception, went out of her way to help us arrange a private taxi tour to see the condors at Colca Canyon, made us an early breakfast before we left and stored our bags for us while we were gone! She was brilliant and is a credit to the hotel.
Super wonderful for the location! It’s rustic, but the location in the oasis can’t be beat! Come early afternoon to take advantage of the pool :) served a simple but hearty vegetarian meal for dinner and they have beers!!
