We loved this place, A nice old looking pub with modern facilities. The room was spacious and clean with a little fridge. The staff were super friendly and chatty. We had an excellent evening meal, with very well kept real ale, and breakfast was also very good with lots of choice. Would love to return.

Three Salmons Hotel, hotel in Abergavenny

Close to the river in beautiful Usk, The Three Salmons Hotel offers traditional charm, friendly service and good local food including freshly baked bread and home-grown vegetables.

Breakfast, although very good, we weren't given a choice. Arrived at table and were expecting a menu or at least be told what was available, but a full cooked breakfast was placed in front us us. Asked for an alternative the next morning, something like scrambled eggs on toast and was told they only do fried eggs. Beautiful garden. Receptionist was excellent.

Three Horseshoes Inn, hotel in Abergavenny

Perfectly located in the idyllic Herefordshire countryside, The Three Horseshoes Inn is a friendly 17th-century family inn, offering private guest accommodation.

The staff at the hotel/pub were incredibly welcoming and friendly. It was in a great location as we were driving onto North Wales so provided a great half way point. Was only a short 10 minute drive to Hereford town but it was nice to stay in the country side and enjoy the peace and quiet. The room was a great size for us and breakfast was just what was needed the next day.

Lovely guest house with welcoming hosts. The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, and there were lots of thoughtful extras, especially the fridge with fresh milk! Breakfast is an optional extra, but it is great value and well worth consideration. We had a very comfortable stay and highly recommend. Thank you.
