Set in Abergavenny in the Gwent region, The Old Rectory Bed & Breakfast offers accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. This bed and breakfast features a garden. The property is non-smoking and is located 49 km from University of South Wales - Cardiff Campus.

We had an amazing time staying at the Old Rectory. Liz (plus her two dogs and her cat) gave us a very warm welcome. The house - as the name says - is a 200 years old rectory, lovingly restored and tended by Liz and looking like a film set for a costume drama. The bedroom was very cosy (with a great selection of English literary classics!), breakfast - including eggs from Liz‘s chickens, which you might meet wandering on the road to the house - is served in a wood-panelled dining room.

Great location with lovely views and garden. There was a lovely welcome package, including a vase of fresh flowers, and clear instructions on how to get there. The house itself was so well equipped with good appliances so it made eating-in very appealing, starting with drinks in the garden. Also, the two sitting rooms and large kitchen/ dining make it the perfect house to just hang out, find a quiet corner, if you need a day off from sight seeing.
