The Little Crown Inn, hotel in Abergavenny

Offering a restaurant and bar, The Little Crown Inn is located in Pontypool. It offers traditionally furnished rooms with a flat-screen TV and free WiFi access.

Incredible value for money. The staff were all friendly and helpful and the room was spacious and comfortable. Even though there were lots of people there celebrating Christmas, we were able to get a space in the car park and everything was nice and quiet once the bar closed. We had dinner in the restaurant, which we really enjoyed. Chose not to have breakfast but I expect the quality of the offering would have been the same as dinner. The location is a bit off the beaten track but worth finding - a real hidden gem.

Everything about the stay was incredible, we turned up extremely late (3am which was pre-arranged) the gentleman who let us in was cheery and extremely lovely. He then greeted us for breakfast with the same cheery attitude, made us feel extremely welcome. Breakfast was perfectly cooked with and set us up for the day. The room was well equipped with everything you could need, including fresh milk in the fridge! The bed was incredibly comfortable.

The New Court Inn, hotel in Abergavenny

The New Court Inn features a garden, shared lounge, a restaurant and bar in Usk. This 4-star inn offers luggage storage space and free WiFi.

Friendly staff, great service and dinner and breakfast was excellent. The Inn was incredibly welcoming and I can’t fault the accommodation. It’s a bit quirky because that’s the style of the property but if you’re looking for a warm welcome, great food and cosy accommodation then I can thoroughly recommend this place. The breakfast was amazing and it’s great value.

Lovely guest house with welcoming hosts. The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, and there were lots of thoughtful extras, especially the fridge with fresh milk! Breakfast is an optional extra, but it is great value and well worth consideration. We had a very comfortable stay and highly recommend. Thank you.
