Monteverde Ecolodge is a wonderful place to stay. Rooms are nice and well equipped. We had the excellent top suite under the roof. The landlady was very kind and helpful with local information. The location is top (near to most activities but quiet) and there are a couple of good restaurants around. So enjoy your stay - it's pura vida! And once again ¡Grascias! to the landlady!

We found cockroach flying around on the bunk bed and decided not to stay. The reviews were great and so we booked, the beds were so so but for a one night stay the four of us were going to tough it out but the washroom did not look good at all. When we entered the room after we came back from dinner outside, a cockroach flew down from the bunk bed so we took our bags and left. Sent a message to the guy at the reception but never got a response.

My friend and I had a great stay. The accommodation is very nice, especially the garden. The kitchen came in handy to prepare some dinner and breakfast. The host recommended a night tour which was amazing. Unfortunately, we only stayed one night, next time we would definitely stay longer :-)

We enjoyed the scenery around the Belcruz lodge- beautiful flowers, hummingbirds… There were trails for a bit of hiking. We had a delicious dinner and very good breakfast in the morning. The family and staff went out of their way to accommodate us. Rocky, the pup, and the kitties were a plus!

The location is excellent! Right near the entrance to the park. The staff was super friendly. Also, there is a great restaurant available for you with the happy hour for drinks and delicious dinner for extra pay like in any other restaurant

Loved every bit of it, wished I stayed longer. The local dog Mia (?) was the highlight, followed me to dinner to the neighboring ranch, walked me back. What an angel, definitely will help with your puppy fix, there are two on the property. Came in Feb, did not have 4x4 and no issues, close to Monte Verde entrance. Would definitely stay again and recommend!

Love the garden and the care that goes in maintaining the plants and the hedge that covered the entrance. Also the art work and crafts around the site add great personality. The location is a 5-10 min walk uphill-downhill from town central so great workout each day to get anywhere. Nice breakfast and small intimate dinning area for guests to chat . The 3 chilli dogs are cute but don’t try to interrupt their rivalry over a bone! I extended my stay for a total of 6 nights here.

Exceptional views of the sunset from our room and the pool area. Great breakfast and dinner. Rooms are spacious and well-appointed with everything you need to relax. Host Susanna was friendly and helpful with tours. Comfortable pool and fun grounds to explore. Quiet but very close to Santa Elena and many activities in the Monteverde region.

The location is very natural and the tree house cabins elevated and amongst the trees are both different and more interesting than 1 would expect. Elizabeth the hostess and her husband are very accommodating and very open to requests. Breakfast is prepared for you and provides a solid beginning to your day. The value for money is excellent albeit a nature / rustic experience. Great stay for us!
