Property information

Just a few minutes' walk from the central village and thermal pools and access to The Heritage Forest across the road, this home has recently been renovated throughout the interior and is a great wee sun trap. The home offers four bedrooms, spacious living area and separate kitchen/dining. It has a large modernised bathroom and separate toilet. Heating and cooling is by way of central heating, ensuring the home is warm or cool throughout year round. Smart TV with Google Chrome Cast is available too. It has a fully fenced yard which is perfect to let the children play and pets roam in a secure area. There is also a covered BBQ. Please note that the towels and linen shown in the photo do not come with the property. If you would like this when you arrive, please add it on as an extra when paying for this holiday home.

Neighbourhood information

Hanmer Springs is a lovely small village set in an alpine environment on the edge of the Southern Alps in the South Island of New Zealand. The village is located at an altitude of approximately 400 metres (1300 feet). This provides a crisp clear climate, with snow falling during winter on several occasions. The geothermal nature of the area has provided the beautiful Thermal Springs Reserve in which to relax, and it is second to none other in New Zealand. The combination of the colder climate and the thermal pools normally sitting at 25-42 degrees Celsius, or 77-18 degrees Fahrenheit is both invigorating and relaxing. The lucky guests get to soak in the thermal pools when it is snowing (for no extra charge) - how lucky are they?
