A detached cottage featuring a large enclosed garden, overlooking Snowdonia and Anglesey, and just a 2 minute walk from the national park gate. The property also offers a south east facing patio, perfect for breakfast in the sun! and a large private parking area for two cars. The property is non-smoking. We are dog friendly and provide a stair gate to keep your pooch from wandering. With free WiFi, this 2-bedroom holiday home features a flat-screen TV and a kitchen with a dishwasher and oven. Towels and bed linen are provided. The accommodation also offers a bright conservatory (or tearoom as we like to call it!) overlooking the garden. The holiday home is a perfect stay for a small family or two couples looking for a peaceful getaway with easy access to the beaches and mountains alike. Snowdon is 10 km from the holiday home, while Penrhyn Castle is 3 km away and Anglesey just 5 km.
We love the outdoors and exploring Snowdonia with our border collie both on foot and on our mountain bikes. We also love wild swimming so don't hesitate to ask if you would like some info on local rivers, lakes or beaches.
The village of Rachub in the community of Llanllechid has to be the most peaceful village in Snowdonia! Many locals speak Welsh as a first language and are all very welcoming to tourists. Just be prepared to say hello to almost every person you pass. We also have probably the best sunsets you'll find in Wales with uninterrupted views to the Irish sea and beyond. You can often see the Isle of Man and even Dublin on a very clear day!
