Guests have exclusive use of the whole house. No sharing of facilities with strangers. Cosy and classic ambience. It is a pleasure for guests to cook together in the well-equipped huge kitchen. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are large. Groups and families love this way of staying together.
Cor and Dineke Ehlers ran the four-star Poplar Grove Guest Farm in South Africa. They moved to Germany in 2016 and are enjoying the beautiful and peaceful surroundings of Erkensruhr. Since they live next to the holiday home, they are always available for help, advice and recommendations.
The forests of the Eifel Nationalpark are all around you: walking, cycling, lakes, boat trips, charming old towns and world heritage sites. Swimming, canoeing, culture, museums - it is all there! Visit Aachen or Monschau, the Rheinisches Freilichtmuseum, take a boat trip on the Rursee or Obersee, or just spend time with your group in the house or garden.
