Cute little city with old fascinating architecture, we got an upgrade to a super new renovated room (I believe they are updating their rooms). Loved the cleanness, but with the newness it was missing a bit of personality in the room. (All black and white). But also don’t really mind, I’m there for the city ofcourse! I saw people in the reviews complaining about parking - we had no problem, there is a parking lot nearby (4min walk). My tip, before you go on the road with the car, just look up the parking lot, and immediately drive to that parking lot, so there is no sudden surprise when you arrive at your destination! Host of the hotel was very friendly and funny!

The apartment was well situated and had lovely views.
It was spotlessly clean and was furnished to a high standard .It was spacious and comfortable with a good area to relax.
The hosts were friendly and helpful. They responded quickly to messages and requests. They were on site when we arrived and welcomed us.
I would definitely return. This is one of the best self catering places I have been in. Everything was in good order and was looked after.

It was quiet - far enough, but not too far, from the autobahn. There are not a lot of commerce there - a basic bar restaurant we found, apart from the Zum Waag, where we stayed. This suited us nicely.

Bad Münstereifel is a beautiful old town with oportunity for outdoor activity for the whole family as well as sports enthusiasts. I have friends living close by so my family and I choose to stay here. Now is very important to support the village and buisness owners after the flood of the Erft so they can flourish again.

Lovely little walled town in the Eifel hills just South of Cologne. Well worth a visit. A bit touristy but still charming. Recently turned into a city outlet but well done, keeping most of the original charm. Many nice restaurants, cafes, icecream parlors.

Charming little getaway.
Charming little getaway. Has lots of outlet stores and many restaurants. Free parking at walking distance from city center. Some restaurants do not accept cards, only cash. Also a good starting point for hikes in the surround hills.

This hotel was not at its best during my stay, as they had the builders in repairing water damage. Due to these repairs the restaurant and other facilities were not available. Despite this I was made to feel welcome and comfortable.
The hotel is located in the industrial area of the town with a 20 to 30 minute walk the old town centre.
Location was just outside the town. The town itself was being rebuilt following the floods, it will be nice to visit once building work is complete.
The hotel itself was also undergoing some external refurbishment and the resturant was closed.It would have been nice to know about the resturant closure before we arrived.
It was lovely stay in an excellent hotel. Fantastic location and great hospitality of the hosts. They even provided with a welcome drink.
Breakfast was excellent! Especially the town is still rebuilding after the floods and not many options outside, so opt out for a breakie straight away as food was plentiful and tasty
Location was perfect, close to the centre, enough parking spots. Breakfast simple, but good. Staff was busy to renovate the hotel, which is good as this was really needed. If you like an authentic old hotel, this is perfect. If you like more comfort and what you expect from a 4 start hotel, don't go.
The hotel is really beautiful, very stylish decor, incredibly comfortable bed. Highly recommend paying for the better room so you can park at the hotel!

Brilliant buffet breakfast. We were in room 14 which had brilliant double aspect views over the valley. The bed was very comfortable. Bad Munstereifel is a great location for exploring the Eifel region of Germany.
A lovely spot to stay at, cosy rooms, a nice garden, a delicious breakfast and the opportunity to buy local goods such a beer specialities. Makes a visit in Bad Münstereifel and its surroundings attractive.
