The beds are comfortable, the shower rooms clean and the kitchen and lounge room are great and spacious. The house in general is super cute. I also thought the blinds and curtains were great while sleeping in the midnight sun summer time.

Arrived with the ferry from Bodø to Moskenes and decided to stay in Å for the night to start our Lofoten trip at the southern point. Authentic old rorbu house in the middle of Å. We were skeptical towards shared bathrooms but were pleasantly surprised. They were very clean. In fact, the one we used as a family has not been used, and the facility was fully booked. It is very nice to have a mutual understanding and respect of spaces when shared with others. We got to see the catch of the day from a group that just returned from a fishing trip, which was very exciting for our little one. See fish being gutted, seagulls swarming the area, and crabs fighting on the ocean bed below in the crystal clear water. The room was spacious and had a sink, which was a plus, so one could wash their face and brush teeth in the morning.

The rooms at the hostel are all located on ground floor. There are shared bathroom erea in the basement and shared kitchen/diningroom on second floor. The best value for money in the Lofoten Islands! This is a former school dormitory converted into a hotel. We had a wonderful stay; the room was spacious and comfortable, and the host warmly welcomed us with great flexibility and recommendations for exploring the area.

The apartment was lovely, with heating, a kitchen, washing machine and clean showers and toilets which is a must for me. Huge appreciation to Thea, one of the assistant managers who welcomed me in to the hostel. Quiet area, near the Reine viewpoint and shops.
