The interior was extremely cosy and everything was lovingly decorated. Unfortunately there was a lot of rain during our stay so we could not do too many activities outside. Instead we taught the kids how to make a fire, we had excellent camp meals and at night cuddled in the (heated) yurts with our fluffy blankets. Pancake breakfast was an extraordinary experience in the little café, especially for the children. Overall highly recommended.

All rooms at Voss Hostel have private bathroom facilities. Most rooms offer views of the surrounding nature and some rooms feature lake views. Staff were amazing. Incredibly welcoming, gave us great advice on local hikes and were helpful with every request. The beds were really comfortable. Amazing location right next to the fjord so we could go for a swim in the morning. Close to the train station. Good breakfast and is included which is relatively rare for a hostel. Communal kitchen was always clean and had good facilities. Mixture of people from solo travelers, large groups and families so would suit anyone.
