The hostel owner and his wife are one the best hosts I've ever met anywhere in the world. Remember to ask them for recommendation for the best local food. They constantly make sure guests are well looked after, and are always most willing to offer help and advise. I looked forward to the delicious free breakfast they made. There's almost something different everyday! The rooftop is excellent for mixing with other travellers, but also comfortable enough to hang out by yourself if you're not too keen to interact. WiFi strength was good. Location was excellent, located in Central Ubud. Initially booked for 2 nights, I ended up staying for 4. A couple of other travelers I met said this is one of the best hostel in Ubud, if not all of Bali. Highly recommended for solo travelers in Ubud.

I had a great stay in Jero di Bismo with Ayu, Dewa and their lovely family. The hostel is super quiet and peaceful, feels very private yet you are very central in ubud, walking distance to lots of restaurants, markets, shopping, etc. The breakfast every morning was delicious and the hosts were very helpful and welcoming
