The houses are beautiful, especially the bathroom, which was my favorite since it was both enclosed and outside at the same time. I would take nightly hot showers and look up to the moon and stars shining above me. The breakfast was tasty, especially Ida’s omelets. But what makes this place truly special is Ida. Bali is full of nice accommodations, but it’s the service and people that make your stay memorable. Ida made me feel like family and I can confidently say that I am leaving here with a friend. If you want to stay at a place that feels like you’re home away from home, I recommended Maha Nusa! The amazing reviews speaks for themselves. The staff were lovely and the pool area was wonderful. You are so close to the beach and the staff are so helpful with booking things in Lovina and onwards! But this place only has two rooms so book for all the nights you want not just one thinking you can extend.

It exceeded my expectations and I would definitely come back once I have the chance!

I liked each and everything about this place. The hosts are wonderful humans. Widi and his wife made sure we didn't have any problems during our stay. The place is so near to all major waterfalls in the area. Fiji, Sukumpul waterfall all are just 10 minutes by motorbike. Widi also arranges for the waterfall tour and gives much much much more reasonable price compared to what others offer there. Widi's place is huge. Trust me pictures on booking.com don't do justice to this place. Bathrooms are huge with hot water. It's simply beautiful. His wife prepares delicious food specially Chicken curry. We were served free breakfast every morning according to our convenient time. There is a small waterfall near to his place approximately 250 mtrs. You can enjoy a bath there too. I bought cloves from Widi's small farm. This family takes extra steps to take care of guests. They don't have regular staff as such and it's a family run homestay but I didn't feel even the slightest inconvenience about anything here. This is my fixed place now whenever I come to North Bali. They also offer pick up and drop services. I was also allowed to use their kitchen to make tea and coffee.

Some units feature a seating area where you can relax. Enjoy a cup of tea while looking out at the pool or garden. We loved the villa. It was quite and in the heart of nature. Only 2 mins from the ocean. The location was great with a true Balinese culture. I'm an Australian and my girl is Indonesian, we live in Bali but we wanted to find a quiet and remote place from where we live.
