Yansen showed us all the interesting places around Rantepao and shared his personal knowledge and experiences about the culture which was super interesting. The food in homestay was the best food I have had in Indonesia. The location was peaceful and beautiful.

Yafi was an amazing host, very helpful, efficient, friendly, happy to help with anything. We rented a high quality scooter from him, he gave us tips where to go and what to visit and he even drove us all the way to Ampana at the end of our stay. It was a pleasure to meet him. He speaks English well.
The accomodation was clean, well located and comfy.

We've stayed in so many homestays and hostel in Ranterpao and this is the best one. The owner is very friendly and helpful. The room is very clean, large and comfortable. Clean bathroom with very hot shower (very rare in Rantepao). Nice kitchen with free banana and water. The location is perfect. Can't recommend this place enough.

Members of the family are amazing. Thank you all : the father, Teteng, Pouding, Akmal and Riha (sorry if I made error in the spelling of your name) we felt home. Teteng took time to help us with the transport, meeting locals and translate. The morning of our arrival she welcomed us warmly and offered a nice breakfast. Akmal shared with us his knowledge of reading the stars to foresee the weather. As he said, ‘the wind can change and nothing is 100% sure’ . Riha is a good cooker and the father has a great personality. The room gives us a direct view on the beach, the room is clean and spacious. It was nice to have a balcony with hammock. The bathroom is quite new. The dog is so cute.

First, just lovely people, Franky was just great, helpful, kind, reasonable priced trips and the best value place to stay. The ladies were lovely, food was great, sometimes exceptional, beer reasonable priced and a great location. I was fortunate in having a room at the front with 2 beds so it was roomy and comfortable. Just a great place to stay... No hesitation in recommending this Homestay.
Homestay and kitchen simple but adequate. We had exceptional morning and evening tours! The guide (owner's brother) is incredible in sighting animals. The owner organized a car to take us back to Manado. We warmly recommend the place, everything in one place. Do not hesitate to come!
Perfectly located near the city centre and still very quiet street. The Homestay is beautiful with an awesome interior design but which be made my stay there unique and unforgettable was the two hosts Marlah and George. They helped me with everything I needed, airport pickup, restaurant recommendations and Marlah booked even an appointment for me at the hospital because I had to see a doctor. No doubt, this Homestay is highly recommended and probably one of the best places to stay in Makassar!
Marla is absolutely amazing, she is a great host and helped us with everything we needed and wanted to know. She booked a bus for us to Rantepao and made sure we would not miss it, she and George drove us to the bus station and stayed with us until we were safely sat on the bus. The accomodation was very clean and beautiful, with comfy beds and the location was great as well. I highly recommend this accomodation to everybody. If I go back to Makassar one day i will definitely stay there again.
I would highly recommend this Homestay. One of the best experiences I have ever had. Meyske and her mum looked after me and all the guests of the homestay as part of a family which sometimes sounds cliché but not in this case She managed to organise a tour for us to attend a funeral , whiteout her help it would be impossible to do by myself. The food made by her mum was incredible , actually I was looking forward to trying new dishes every evening 10/10 for them
The location is rural with a beautiful view with mountain, cows and chicken 5 min walk to local restaurants. Room is nice with balcony, comfy bed and table where you can put your things. Toilet and shower is downstairs. Breakfast is very good Great hosts, Martha and Rein. We had many good conversations and laughs 🌹
Really an authentic homestay... And a very competent guide for everything!
We had a warm welcome by the children, family members and Fadjar. The advantage of staying in a Homestay is that we met inhabitants, locals people sharing interesting knowledge. The wifi connection is good. The breakfast was good. The Homestay is at walking distance to restaurant to Rosemah Marly restaurant.
Meske and her family are the best host family you could ever wish for! Your stay will be a true experience with the locals, their food and habits. Meske goes the extra mile; she will spend evenings with you to help you plan your programme and suggest the best guides and drivers. This is not a simple stay - you should know you will leave your heart in Toraja ;)
