Breakfast was served fresh every day and very good. The host Ida is very kind and helped us organise transport from and to the hotel, a snorkeling trip and the rental of a motorcycle. She also gave us very good recommendations for other sights and restaurants nearby. Thanks a lot for a wonderful stay.

The two things that most stand out are the incredible kindness/giving nature of the owner, as well as the location near Munduk. I also felt like I got a more deep cultural immersion into Balinese way of life by staying here. Wayan really goes out of his way for villa guests. As there are only two rooms, he essentially gives you undivided attention during your stay. As others mention, usually he will offer you transportation around town in his van since it is a bit more rural. He wanted to take us to a few waterfalls, but when we told him we also wanted to see Ulu Danu Beratan temple, he was extremely kind to drive us there and wait for us in the parking lot while we saw the temple before taking us to the waterfalls for a great hike (the waterfalls he took us to are undoubtely some of the best in Bali, as they still have decent enough infrastructure without being as crowded as some of the other waterfalls). He took us to a hot springs after the waterfall. This was a 6-7 hour day almost, and he doesn't ask for any sort of payment for this; we still tipped him a monetary amount that a full-day driver would usually charge. I can't officially promise on his behalf what he will offer, but based on other guests' reviews and my experience, it seems he would offer you help with transportation, whether for a short part of the day or even the full day! I genuinely think the location on the villa is one of its highlights. If you want to go to partying in clubs/bars, you can still do so, it's just a 20-25 in drive to Munduk city. If you don't care about being in the heart of a city, it is so refreshing being in this villa b/c it is perched next to a rice terrace, and from the comfort of the swimming pool, you can enjoy the incredible beauty of the Munduk countryside with rice terraces.

Located in Lovina, 200 metres from Lovina Beach and 500 metres from Ganesha Beach, Rumah Askara offers an outdoor swimming pool and air conditioning. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. The property is non-smoking and is set 2 km from Agung Beach. This place was immaculately clean! The staff were lovely and the pool area was wonderful. You are so close to the beach and the staff are so helpful with booking things in Lovina and onwards! But this place only has two rooms so book for all the nights you want not just one thinking you can extend.

Very nice accommodation, quiet cute place in the mountains. Staff is very nice! They also have little spa on the property and good massage. Breakfast was nice addition

Situated in Munduk, Bali Bening provides accommodation with seating area. With mountain views, this accommodation features a terrace. There is a restaurant serving American cuisine, and free private parking is available. Everything about Bali Bening was fantastic. The view was phenomenal, a highlight, among many, was sitting on the deck eating delicious food. Made was a wonderful host and chef.. Truly the service and food were remarkable. The dishes were prepared with fresh ingredients and so well seasoned, we thoroughly enjoyed it. Our room was large with very comfortable beds. We felt like we were at home. I have to emphasize the view and the food. I think you would be missing out on this beautiful waterfall area if you did not stay here. We will return next time to stay at this incredible place. I want to take a cooking class from Made next visit.

This place is ideal for you if you like privacy. I can't find enough words to describe how friendly and helpful the staff was. Kadek was literally always available for us and replied to us in a matter of minutes. The place was clean and the staff cleaned it two times during our stay. The villa is in a village, so it's necessary to rent a scooter or a driver if you want to go to town or sightseeing. There are a couple of restaurants in the village and also the villa can provide food from their restaurant.

Facing the seafront, Mojito Beach Villas is a guest house featuring a 2-star accommodation in Kubutambahan. It has a garden, shared lounge and parking on-site. This guest house offers air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony. The guest house features sea views, a sun terrace, a 24-hour front desk, and free WiFi is available. It felt amazing to have a small bungalow directly at sea front. In generel it was the perfect night. We had dinner and breakfast privately right in front of our own bungalow right at the sea underneath of palm trees.
