The accomodation is simple but spacious and clean, free amazing coffee, and here you'll have the feeling to be in a real homestay in a real guatemala village to base yourself for Tikal, instead of being in the Flores tourist bubble.

Great hostel - wonderful location and clean. Staff very friendly - I booked Tikal through them and they advised me on bus to take for my onward journey. If you want to sleep at night I suggest you stay here and if you like you can visit the party hostel nearby. I met people who were staying at the party hostel nearby and they wished they had stayed at Don Cenobio!

Peter is a great host and is always willing to help out and make sure you're comfortable. The view from the pool across to Flores is great and it's so nice to be surrounded by trees and birds whenever you're outside.
This was a good hostel for the night to go to Tikal. Each bed had a personal fan which was good as it was quite hot in Flores. It had a nice common area.

Everything was perfect! Peter, Eric and Yolanda were incredible nice and great hosts. Breakfast in the mornings were delicious and even more with that lovely view from the lake. The place is tranquil, perfect to relax after a busy day in Flores or doing the excursions. Comfy bed, great hot shower and a pool to cool down in the hot afternoon.
Rodrigo and his colleagues were the most welcoming people and amazing hosts ! We felt at home from the very beginning and they gave us great tips about Flores. We had great and funny conversations ! The view on the terrace is just amazing and they did well with decorating the place. They offer nice breakfasts on the terrace and the beds in the dorms are comfortable. It's the perfect place if you are looking for a well located, quiet place with great hosts who give you tips about Flores. We just loved it !
