The location in a natural reserve with a private beach is exceptional. The facilities are very well kept and staff go above and beyond to make your stay in the hotel and experience in Peten a trip to remember. Kevin Guerra from the reception orgsnized fantastic tours for my family, the service providers were excellent.

The hotel is beautiful and set within the lush jungle surroundings of Tikal. Howler monkeys are often seen and heard (in the early morning!). There are nice dining rooms, sitting areas and a pool to relax after a hot day wandering around the amazing Tikal site. And being so close to Tikal, really saves a lot of hassle getting here and beating the crowds.

Very nice hotel, situated right next to the ticket box inside Tikal national park. Perfect if you want to stay close and not have to drive or take the bus in the morning.
It has a nice lounge bar and a pool for the warm days.

It's a fantastic location, at the foot of the Tikal national park. Being deep in the jungle, there are plenty of birds singing and we even saw a little wild pig around. We loved being able to dive in the pool after a day of walking among the ruins of Maya temples.

Great location next to Tikal National Park. Friendly staff, clean room, not too many mosquitoes in the room and a perfect place to wake up to a howler monkey calling sound :-)

Very clean rooms. Beautiful property. Across the parking lot for Tikal National Park. The hotel arranged our airport pickup and dropoff as well as a private guide for the sunrise Tikal tour. The gentleman at the front desk was also the restaurant waiter. He was friendly, efficient and informative. Restaurant had a good selection of food and drinks.

The Jungle Lodge Tikal Hostal is located directly in the Tikal National Park which makes you feel like part of the jungle, including the howling monkeys during nights. The setting is beautiful and the Hostal is located on the same premises with the hotel - you can use the same pool and restaurant. The Hostal has shared bathrooms and showers and they were always kept clean. The location inside the park allows you to access the park as the first people if you book the sunrise tour.

Excellent location inside Tikal where you can see from the pool toucans and spider monkeys (as in Tikal national park). We highly recommend the sunrise tour with Cesar (local guide from the Hotel) who can nicely explain the Maya culture in today’s words (he also grew up in the NY so his English is excellent).
