United KingdomThe hotel is beautiful and set within the lush jungle surroundings of Tikal. Howler monkeys are often seen and heard (in the early morning!). There are nice dining rooms, sitting areas and a pool to relax after a hot day wandering around the amazing Tikal site. And being so close to Tikal, really saves a lot of hassle getting here and beating the crowds.

Being deep in the jungle, there are plenty of birds singing and we even saw a little wild pig around. The setting is beautiful and the Hostal is located on the same premises with the hotel - you can use the same pool and restaurant. The Hostal has shared bathrooms and showers and they were always kept clean.
