The room was fantastic, very nice, open, with a view on the lake! It was exactly as it looked on the pictures. A paradise! Everything was also super clean. The houses are located in a nice garden, where we even saw howler monkeys! Sanctus and Alida are super nice and took so good care of us! They also prepare nice meals, with a lot of care. We really felt welcome in Posada del Cerro. Sanctus also arranged a trip to Yaxchá, and a shuttle service to Rio Dulce at the end of our stay. We really loved staying in Posada del Cerro!

Jungle lodge is located right in the middle of Tikal, on walking distance to the Maya ruins. The hotel was super nice and staff very friendly. The guides were also very good and spoke English well.
The cleaning staff was working all the time to make sure that the areas were free of insects, as the hotel is located in the middle of the jungle. Food was very nice and we appreciated cinema evening.

Nicely Located in Tikal national park. Restaurant had enough options to choose from. Nice staff. They accommodated our lack of Spanish. Easy to get there from the boarder of wherever you are.
It's a fantastic location, at the foot of the Tikal national park. Being deep in the jungle, there are plenty of birds singing and we even saw a little wild pig around. We loved being able to dive in the pool after a day of walking among the ruins of Maya temples.
Great location next to Tikal National Park. Friendly staff, clean room, not too many mosquitoes in the room and a perfect place to wake up to a howler monkey calling sound :-)
The location of jungle lodge hostel is magical right in Tikal national park, surrounded by jungle, hearing the sounds of the howler monkeys and jungle st night .
The hotel has a huge lodge with a restaurant, games area, bar and seating areas - it is wonderful
Very clean rooms. Beautiful property. Across the parking lot for Tikal National Park. The hotel arranged our airport pickup and dropoff as well as a private guide for the sunrise Tikal tour. The gentleman at the front desk was also the restaurant waiter. He was friendly, efficient and informative. Restaurant had a good selection of food and drinks.
The Jungle Lodge Tikal Hostal is located directly in the Tikal National Park which makes you feel like part of the jungle, including the howling monkeys during nights. The setting is beautiful and the Hostal is located on the same premises with the hotel - you can use the same pool and restaurant. The Hostal has shared bathrooms and showers and they were always kept clean. The location inside the park allows you to access the park as the first people if you book the sunrise tour.
Excellent location inside Tikal where you can see from the pool toucans and spider monkeys (as in Tikal national park). We highly recommend the sunrise tour with Cesar (local guide from the Hotel) who can nicely explain the Maya culture in today’s words (he also grew up in the NY so his English is excellent).
It was very convenient to be so close to the entrance to Tikal National Park. The jungle-like feel of the facilities was fun. The tour guide set up through the hotel was wonderful.
the staff - tour guides were first class, super helpful! and the location too, so close to Tikal National Park - great to be able to come back and rest and go back for sunset tour.
