We stayed there for six days. We had a good experience with Mr. Prabha, his wife as well as the staff. We were very happy with the homely food. When we visit Trincomalee, we will definitely stay there again. The tariff was very moderate for the facilities provided. The location is easily accessible from the city and the beach.

The setting was nice and quiet, good food nearby, the AC was godsend, and my host was beyond outstanding! (Good conversation and helped me with a tuk-tuk to get to my night bus) I can't recommend this place enough!

Location was perfect (close to beach and amazing restaurants), staff were incredibly helpful, whole place was super clean and exceptional value for money. All quite basic, but it had everything we needed. The shared kitchen and fridge is also very useful… all in all a great place for a beach holiday!

We totally recommend staying with Giri. He has a good sense of humor and a laugh that made me laugh instantly, too. Good idea to drink some tea with him! Then also, Giri is very kind and chill. We were offered breakfast when we had not booked it, for example. Also, he allowed us to have a late check out, because of our dolphin watching tour. Not to forget, Maria, the housekeepster is super friendly and takes great care of you whenever she can. The room is nice, the garden too and the location just perfect. So close to the beach, but still on a quiet street, many restaurants and supermarket close by. Totally go for it!

Great design with the best bathroom of our whole trip. Our host was very welcoming and helpful. It’s just a few minutes walk away to the beach where you can find a great cafe and bar as well as relax next to the sea. We walked along the beach into Trincomalee too from here.

What a lovely place to stay! We were so happy to witness and admire the great job the Host- Prashanth does helping all the animals in need. Prashanth is a beautiful and very kind person who literally restored our belief in humans. We very much recommend it to pet lovers, and we were happy to know that by staying there we take part in helping the animals. You can see there the sweetest furry friends, and we fell in love with each one of them! The room had everything we needed and the homestay is only a few minutes from the beach and all the amenities . The host is very helpful in arranging tuk tuk, bus tickets and recommending places to eat real local food. We would love to be back there and see all these beautiful faces again! We'd only booked for two nights but extended to four as we needed to rest and relax. Our room was of a reasonable standard, but on occasions it smelt of sewage. The bathroom sink and the shower drain haven't got 'U' bends so the smell is not prevented from escaping into the room. Shame as everything else was good. The electric shower worked well with hot water. The air conditioner worked well but there was something wrong with the remote control as it was tempremental and didn't work well. We stuck it on 30c and used the fan instead. It would be nice to have tea and coffee making facilities in the room. However the main reason for our extended stay was the huge clean swimming pool which was brilliant. We had it mostly to ourselves as there are only six rooms and only five were let. Most people staying went out for most of the day leaving the pool to us. The water was warm too. My little thermometer read 33.4c. Overall a good place to stay lots of restaurants nearby and the beach is juat a stones throw away. The waste pipes just need 'U' bends to stop the smell.
