Most amazing view of the lion rock & rice fields from the veranda and while lying by the pool. The staff was super kind and forthcoming. The room is HUGE! It‘s perfect for couples and down the road is the Main Street of Sigiriya.

Well, everything:
- most importantly service provided by hotel staff, from the very first encounter. After long drive through the Sri Lankan traffic I was tired and the guy from the hotel met me by the road on his scooter to guide me to the accommodation
- they had open kitchen with a variety of dishes at 21 o’clock which was perfect as me and my wife were tired to go out to look for places to eat
- the territory is enclosed with a fence and they have parking spots, so it was ideal for me with rented car
- the room was clean, smelled fresh and new (something I found hard to find in many hotels).
- they have all necessary toiletry including hair drier
- the room is very big, the bed is comfortable.
- the territory is beautiful, lots of greens but the room and terrace feel private space because of greenery that separates the territory
- nice breakfast
- the property is close to the entrance to Sigiriya National Museum

We had an excellent experience staying here. We were welcomed by a kind, patient and extremely helpful host who arranged tours, tuk tuks, and inter city transportation for us. The room was spotless and the property itself was peaceful, quiet, and tucked away in a beautiful garden. The included breakfast in the morning was delicious and generous. I would highly recommend this place to anyone planning a stay in the area.

We spent in hotel only 1 night but if we would stay in Sigiriya longer we would definetly stay here. The second we came, personal were so nice and helpful. Location of hotel is amazing, walk distance to Lion rock and 20 min with tuk tuk to Dambulla caves. The room was spacious, clean, with amazing view. Breakfast in morning was amazing, homemade mix of western and traditional sri lankan dishes with fresh cut fruit.

Beautiful place with a fantastic and huge pool to swim.
The rooms are very clean, very comfortable king size bed, big bathroom with a fantastic hot water shower.
Terrace with comfortable lying/sitting chairs and beautiful garden & pool view.
Very helpful staff. They talk very well english and help with lots of arrangements like transports, activities around as well as travel informations.
Rich and tasty breakfast, very delicious dishes!

Leave accommodation before breakfast to beat the crowds and busloads of visitors. You will have a safer and timelier climb to the top and down again. You can eat after.
It was beautiful to see the sunrise and to climb before it got too hot. Make sure to visit the grounds and not just climb and leave.

Watching the sunset from Sigiriya was truly unforgettable. As the sun dipped low behind the distant hills, the entire landscape transformed into a canvas of gold, orange, and soft pinks. The ancient rock fortress, already majestic by day, took on a mystical glow during golden hour.

Great climb and quite fun views from the top. Keep three hours on hand as I recommend people to climb slowly with lot of breaks and keep some time to rest, recuperarte and absorb the views from the top.

Fabulous trip to see Sigiriya - we booked our own tuk tuk.
Fabulous trip to see Sigiriya - we booked our own tuk tuk. Be aware that you probably wont 'finish' at the same car park where you start - you are funnelled past the gift shops to a different car park so we had to find our way back to our driver.
Also considering that most of the dogs we saw in SL were well fed by locals we saw too many v thin dogs here, which was horrid considering the cost of the ticket...
Make sure you go early if possible- large crowds when we were coming out at 8:30am so would have made for a v v slow ascent. If you go early it is lovely and quiet.
